So, if you are right, that might tend to rather muddy the water with any insurance claim? For years? No?

I don't have ulcers, I'm not seeing any "argument" from you.

Or even any actual response.

We live one hour away from this.
We've been over this bridge.
It's really going to mess up traffic in B'More.

It's being described as a "Black Swan" event. Not sure why though.

Hmmmm. Searching black swan event produces...

NSA fears quantum computing surprise: ‘If this black swan event happens, then we’re really screwed’

The National Security Agency fears a quantum computing breakthrough by America’s adversaries would jeopardize the security of the global economy and allow foes to peer inside top-secret communications systems.

The agency’s concern is that an unforeseen advance in quantum technology would crack encryption systems used to protect everything from financial transactions to sensitive communications involving nuclear weapons, according to NSA Director of Research Gil Herrera.

‘Very, Very Dangerous’: Ron Paul Tells Tucker Americans Should Prepare For ‘Black Swan’ Event

“I think we’re reaching this point where some sudden thing is going to happen,” Paul told Carlson. “I believe in that theory of the black swan. It’s going to pop up and it’s not going to be controllable.”

“But people ask, what can they do? I think the most important thing is understand what’s going on,” Paul continued. “It’s education. That’s why I happen to have a home-schooling program that tries to teach this stuff early.”

If the "sabotage/terrorism" narrative gains any traction in the MSM, and/or among the public, you can bet your last dollar that the ship's owners and insurers will fight to the highest court to deny any responsibility or liability.

They will claim that they are collateral damage in (an undeclaired) war.

Even without that, it's going to be protracted, to say the least.

Force majeure?

The Philadelphia highway collapse after an exploded tanker truck burned up the supports, was billed as a disaster at the time.

BIDEN: "It's my intention that the federal government will pay for the entire cost of reconstructing that bridge and I expect the Congress to support my effort."

So why shouldn't the ship owner's insurance pay right away???????? HMMMMMMM
☠️☠️

Why?

Was the US government somehow at fault?

No. Surely, the important thing is to get the port up and running again?

Asap?

Yep. The ship appears to be tied to at least three different companies. So there will be arguments over which one's insurance should be the one to pay. Then there's the fact that the ship was being piloted by people from a local company, so the ship's owners would try to have responsibility passed off to the company. If an investigation turns up the cause being mechanical failure, they'll try to move responsibility to the manufacturer of that part/manufacturer of the ship.

That's a lot of insurance companies arguing in court over who should pay.

And of course none of that could happen until the NTSB completes their investigation into determining the root cause which could take over a year.

Nobody knows whether the last thing the skipper says was, "Allahu akhbar". The odds of hitting that particular point of the bridge in what is one of the busiest shipping routes in the US is staggering.

Seems like the 'terrorism' motive is being deliberately played down. But then, no-one would want to admit how vulnerable as a country you are (as well as the UK).
I think this is a show of force to tptb.
More will come.
I'm sure people will call me hateful, a bigot, an islamophobe, etc.

Bring it.
