Neuralink and the mark of the beast

Elon Musk announced human trials for Neuralink.

The first human patient will soon receive a Neuralink device. This ultimately has the potential to restore full body movement.

In the long term, Neuralink hopes to play a role in AI risk civilizational risk reduction by improving human to AI (and human to human) bandwidth by several orders of magnitude.

Neuralink will be beneficial especially when it comes to those that are paralyzed. That's the benefit and this is why Elon is leading with it. The true goal is a reduction in bandwidth. He's been talking about this for years. He wants Neuralink to reduce the bandwidth between A.I. and humans and human to human.

This means, he wants to reduce the time it takes to interact with your computers or apps. It takes time to search the internet because you have to type in or speak a query into the search engine or open up an app. He wants you to be able to do this with just a thought. Imagine going into a room and instead of greeting everyone in the room, you could say hi to everyone in the room at the same time. He also wants to merge the human brain with A.I. because A.I. will become vastly more intelligent than humans.

Here's MoGawdat, an ex-Google Officer, talking about the I.Q. of ChatGPT. He talks about how it's I.Q. could reach 1600 in just a few months if it continues to grow in a exponential way.


So A.I. could become so intelligent and process so much data, it could be thousands of years ahead of us in understanding science and technology. Explaining these things to us would be like trying to explain Relativity to a baby. So Musk sees this as a danger and if you connect A.I. to the human brain, this will allow us to learn what A.I. knows much faster with a Neuralink chip in the brain.

This is misguided and the dangers are obvious to see.

Imagine if Neuralink could send a signal to your conscious awareness. We as Christians believe we have a sould and a spirit and are not just chemical automotons. Imagine saying you're a freethinker but have no free will. That's an oxymoron but people believe it.

So you're soul/spirit mediates the information processed between your subconsious and your conscious awareness.

The human body sends 11 million bits per second to the brain for processing, yet the conscious mind seems to be able to process only 50 bits per second.

It appears that a tremendous amount of compression is taking place if 11 million bits are being reduced to less than 50. Note that the discrepancy between the amount of information being transmitted and the amount of information being processed is so large that any inaccuracy in the measurements is insignificant.

Two more problems suggest themselves when thinking about this immense amount of compression. First is the problem of determining how long it takes to do the compression, and second is the problem of determining where the processing power is found for doing this much compression.

This is only a problem if you think we're chemical automotons. You don't need all of that compression when you have a soul/spirit that makes decisions about the information that reaches your conscious awareness based on past experiences. Because we have free will, we can go against these past experiences and choose a totally different path like a gang member who has been violent all of their life, hears about Jesus and is now talking about love and helping people.

So if A.I. through Neuralink can send messages to your conscious awareness, then you will not know when a thought is yours or it's coming from Neuralink. You can turn a conservative into a liberal and a liberal to a conservative because people will just think they're having a change of heart but they're not. Imagine your brain being hacked like a Twitter or Facebook page or how Governments can easily control your thoughts.

Could this be related to the mark of the beast in some way? Of course it could and this is why the Bible tells us to be aware of the times you're living in when you see the signs of the times.

Like I said, people will see the benefit but not the consequence. Their goal is to augment your body and tell you that they can make you gods. Here's a video from Yuval Noah Harari saying through science and technology people will surpass the God of the Bible. Notice he mentions the Bible because they know who the True God is. The Bible says the the carnal mind is at enmity, which means hostile opposition to God.

Bible Prophecy is unfolding before our eyes and soon Hitler's vision will be pushed under the guise of peace and enabled by modern science and technology. Notice Harari says we can hack humans and there's no free will. So you have no choice but to accept it. In the video, Obama says he really enjoyed his book.

There's one way to escape what's coming and that's through Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life!

Agree - even the core of the issue Elon isn't addresssing - righteousness. Without the righteousness of God, so much knowledge becomes pure poision, there is only a matter of time before it leads to pure corruption unto doom - just as bible prophecy states. At some point, the restraining power of God will be let go and Satan will have full control. Life and Death, good and wrong, will not each of his children (those not reborn in Christ) take it upon themselves to determine it - pure selfeshness would be unleashed, I'd imagine.

Look at how much corruption and distortion to righteousness there is today - this is gasoline and even throwing bombs in the mix. No good thing.

We are right back in the garden of eden - knowledge of good and evil -- We need to put our trust in Him, his wisdom on what is good or evil - luckily we have the word, and that is enough to endure until the end. It is a holy lesson we all need to learn and will one way or the other - to have faith in the one with all knowledge who sees the end of all things - for it is right to do so - and not be falsely blinded by the lie - we will increase our knowledge to determine what is good or evil (inherent in this believe is idolatry - removing God from the center of your being and focus - and thus opening yourself upon corruption to corruption). And worse of all, this is complete unrighteousness, for it is the height of all arrogance and folly to assume we could have more knowledge and wisdom than God, who has all knowledge and wisdom - for this is infinite - i n f i n i t e. Which means, a created being will never accumulate infinite knowledge, no matter the time and what exponential degree of increase of it. 1 billion years 1 billion times faster isn't even a drop in the bucket unto infinite knowledge - therefore, that is what it means to say, this is an unrighteouss thing to ever assume man will ever know more than God. It then becomes foolish. God has made the knowledge and wisdom of this world utterly foolish and this is a direct example of such. By having no faith in God, they become foolish and consider not the reality of prophecy or see the futility of any existence outside the realm of being sustained by God and his righteousness.

Do this people think having AI and then humans with 1 million IQ points is a long sustaining activity? Based on what evidence? Look around the world today and see the issues. It's not due to lack of knowledge, but lack of righteousness, a spiritual vacuum where selfishness, hedonism, and the pride of life is run ramport, and all of these things are as milk before the meat of spiritual existence connected to God, ney, these things become less worthy than dog vomit.

Surely, they must know and see the corruption abounding, but there hope that somehow this will be a good thing, so taking a chance of it not being bad, is pure naivety - they have not the word of God in there hearts that says the human heart is desperately wicked, what fiend would ever unleash such corruption unto such creature as man then? It wouldn't be possible.

The heart of the issue is this is the fruit of the secular world which does not believe in God - they don't see the corruption in man, or see the paramount need to seek and be sustained by God's righteousness to the core of each man and person, for this is the paramount task and goal for man, period, not to accumulate knowledge. The evidence of this is abound, the corruption in the world, and the bible is once again proved accurate in such, for corruption is the result of not having the righteousness of God. All of this seems but a trial, the goal, to show man the futility of such to bring us right back to God, to seek his righteousness and surrender our trust in ourselves to be judge of good and evil, and this is only accomplished by taking heed to the bible and confirming it, that we are indeed fallen, desperately wicked to the core, and thus we NEED God, and place our faith in what He has provided for us as the cross.

This is an important lesson. God is teaching us lessons, preparing his children to inherit eternal life with him, to inherit the earth, for he seeks those who will worship in spirit and truth. The one lesson I see first and foremost, is there is no worthy life or eternal existence without the righteousness of God, for it is that which sustains. This world is a temporary one, a testing ground of faith and believe but everything starts at the core within ourselves, feeding it the light of the Word of God - say we may draw near to him and know more of Him (for that is life eternal). Persecution, temptations, enduring unto patience, all of these, though challenging, refine our faith, making it more pure, teaching us the difference between knowing something, and understanding something, unto wisdom in daily life.

For instance, even now, for me, give with a cheerful heart to any ungrateful or even persecute you? I know its the right thing to do, but do I understand it? What you think might be relatively easy, until you do it, you'll see how hard it is, or impossible, but with Him all things are possible. So I notice a deficiency within myself. Before, without trying, I would not have seen this, so I go back to pray, confess more, be more grateful, seek more of his righteousness, etc in meditation. The action has caused me to see a deeper reservoir I need to jump into in order to follow the Word of God to give with a cheerful heart and to become more like him. I would not see until doing what I believe, thus faith is perfected in action as it challenges our faith, we may believe one thing, but it may be untrue when tested. How much grace is required to give out of a cheeful heart or to bless and forgive those who persecute you, even as they are taking your life, this is knowledge from him, thus how important meditation/prayer and the word is. Let's seek fellowship and put our faith to the tests using the outside world to do so by doing what the bible says, knowing He is the starter and perfecter of our faith, and unto the brethren of the Kingdom mutual support and encouragment.

Those in power have a long history of perpetrating evil on citizens; just imagine of all the things their evil minds could come up with if they had an AI interface!

And think of how great it'll be to have your brain force an automatic system update while you're driving down the freeway!
Plus it's great for the corporations, because they can just sneak a waver into the T&C nobody ever reads that allows them to control your senses, put you to sleep, or make you hallucinate, or give you an overwhelming urge to buy a product you otherwise wouldn't have wanted.
This is in our best interests, and I can't imagine it being abused, with the STRINGENT oversight and regulation we have over corporate franchises and advertisers! This is gonna be GREAT!

At least Elon is aware of the potential hazards of this, but that doesn't mean that he'll be able to control it like he would like to believe.

You know how annoying they are with shouting "fake news" right now? I can't link an article to fox or breitbart anywhere even off topic forums with no rules. Just fun and discussion. But they come out of the woodwork to shout about how your link is bad because it comes from bad people. They won't even consider the contents of the article. Safety concerns are also a factor as it wasn't that long ago Neuralink test monkeys were suffering 'chronic infections, seizures and paralysis' (also 'chewing their fingers off').

People who accept the mark won't be saved because taking that mark is a person's public choice that abandons God and chooses evil. Taking the mark is joining the evil team, but it is destruction. Everyone should just say no. And when the choice is presented, kick them in the n%ts hard while shouting NO!

My understanding is that, if God is, and there is/will be a Mark of the Beast, that one cannot be 'tricked' into taking it, it must be done with full knowledge and comprehension of the consequences.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'd never get it... well, I guess, maybe, if I was paralyzed or something, and there was lots of evidence it could cure me in the form of success stories, then, maybe, but it would be a hard choice.

I haven't done any deep diving into the tech... I imagine there would have to be ways to kill or otherwise manually control the link.

I'm all for this technology I am considering jumping off a bridge to get myself paralyzed so I can be one of the first people to get an implant. I think it would be awesome to be able to have computer games piped directly into my consciousness instead of having to use my eyes to look at a computer screen.
