Problem might be with inertia at that sort of speed in changing course, acceleration and braking all of which could turn occupants of said starship into strawberry jam.

But what if the nuts and bolts starship mimics zero rest mass, by surrounding it with a magnetic shield of some sort --- Shouldn't that shield possibly provide a safety net for the crew and starship on such a mission?

It is not visible light (“what you see in an image”) but the frequency that individual elements absorb. So a hydrogen molecule always absorbs this frequency (a line in a spectrograph). Over the years a whole catalog of chemical absorption frequencies has been constructed.

Now, just by spectral lines, you can classify the type of star, general age, distance, the visible light it emits, its favorite Beatle, etc… even with red/blue shifts. All because of the speed of light in a vacuum being constant.

The filters you are talking about are good for “recreating” a photo from the raw data collected.

Hope that helps!

The gravity wave of the OP are extensions of the news making LIGO neutron star merger. Like stringing together several radio telescopes to make a virtual radio telescope with a larger aperture, they have done the same but with stellar objects and gravity! Which is pretty cool from a “concept to reality” realization.

I suppose that theory could explain occultation of some solar bodies at a distance that appear to flicker outside of the earths atmosphere; Where such a thing is observed as a twinkling due to the moons reflection on the water we have. Of course that occultation of some of them viewed could be the same sort of phenomena not necessarily waves from gravitation and yet due to orbits being called gravitation they kinda are making it a catch-22.

The proof against such a thing as gravity and it's proposed wells existing however; Is the moon is escaping earth not being pulled into it; Proof against that proof would be other celestial objects are more dense than the bodies closest to their moons ie. the sun; and yet proof against that is asteroids are not pulled into it that have escaped the orbit of other celestial bodies. Such as how fast the celestial object Onimusha entered our solar system and slowed to almost a complete stop gained another vector and left as quickly as it arrived... Lending more proof to the electric field universe based on spin that was in place 100's of years before the scientific cult of Einsteinism.

In my opinion the phenomena of 'bubbles' that have more recently been discovered; Imploded is the likely source of the 'black hole' phenomena... sending a probe into one of those crossing the fingers in hopes that it wouldn't burst into a black hole would be an awesome experiment as those bubbles are like an atmosphere that appears to be missing a celestial body inside of it by all descriptors and not just the art associated with them.
