Humanity's Convalescence - An Original Poem

The way I see it we're already dead,

Eyes to the floor, brains made of lead,

We live in a sick consumerist culture,

The Powers That Be are a ravenous vulture,

The ignorant masses are brainwashed cattle,

The fascist overlords are atop the saddle,

Soulless shells of humans take the filthy role of banksters,

Shameful scams Fractional Reserve Banking and derivatives are,

Ideas implemented solely to manipulate and scar,

Given the power to control a nation's money supply,

With incalculable greed and delusions of grandeur, their evil has no limit,

Clueless corporate tools know not the malevolence diseased minds will exhibit,

Fearless neckties fully unaware of their own wage slave existence,

Their herniated brains can offer no true resistance,

A lifetime of ingesting MSG and Aspartame in the food supply,

Not to mention fluoride in the water to rot our critical thinking dry,

Too blinded by mindless television and deliberate warfare to ask why,

Why the C.I.A. owns the world's drug routes, and provides us with the narcotics we buy,

A slippery slope of shooting dope and rotting in the prisons,

Ends our hope and hangs the rope around our neck, while on the gallows, slack eyes glisten.

Oh hear ye,
My horse wants to straddle.

Just give me a drink.

And a mighty fine saddle.
