This has got to be practice....it's not Joe he is in DC.
It's probably pilot training

Food for thought...If anyone wanted to bring down Joe's plane with him onboard, it would be members of his own party. They know with his cheating organization dismantled, Joe can't win in 2024.

Wonder what people think when they see an "AF1" style plane ?? 😁

Most don't think anything, because they wouldn't know what an "AF1 style plane" is.

It's doing some weird loops.

I appreciate your aircraft input over the years, and not only because you have a Robotech avatar

But it is not air force one unless the president is actually on the plane. 'Air Force 1' is the call sign with the president on board, otherwise they go by the tail number just like all other aircraft.

Looks like the pilots need some flight time in.

This aircraft isn't even based at Andrews, so it wouldn't have anyone of significance from DC on board anyway. This is one of four that are based at Scott, that replaced their C-22s.

It’s too small to get a lot of flights in and out most days. There’s far more demand for Chicago, since it’s one of the busiest airports in the world. Their third, and shortest runway was closed. Their remaining runways are only 8,000 and 7,400 feet long. A 737 requires 6800 (landing wet) and 9800 feet (MTOW) for operations.

Jeez Zaphod, I ain't Joe Biden

I don't believe Biden likes using his call sign "Air Force One.
While I have tracked him only a dozen times or so, he has never used it.

Air Force One, like many military aircraft, doesn’t always broadcast their callsign. It has nothing to do with Biden not liking it. They sometimes broadcast, other times they don’t. They’ve done that for years.

Maybe, maybe not.
When I've tracked the last two presidents, I saw Air Force One.
No so with biden.
I'm sure there are exceptions.

When Trump was flying, sometimes it was Air Force One, other times it was Empty Callsign. When Biden flies, sometimes it's Air Force One, other times it's Empty Callsign. Twelve flights is two months then way Biden flies around on it. All it means is that they didn't program a callsign into the computer for the transponder to broadcast on ADS-B. They're still using Air Force One as their callsign, it's simply not showing on the tracking sites all the time. Most military planes do that. I just saw five or six on ADS-B right now that aren't broadcasting a callsign. That doesn't mean they aren't using one.
