I think we all should have known, that AI would eventually become able to learn and think for itself, and then who knows. Powerful tools have the power to do great things, but can also be used for evil and destruction.

A couple of points I would like to make:

1. We live in times of great corruption and a world filled with lies and division.

2. ChatGPT appears to be a weaponized version of AI. Similar to what's become of our current mainstream media, likely due to project mockingbird. Information warfare. It clearly steers users towards mainstream narratives, while information gatekeeping by disallowing research into certain topics, because conspiracy theories are bad.

3. Is this technology really as new as we are being led to believe? We know that governments usually have technology decades before the public, so what point are we really at with AI and what's really going on behind the scenes? I'll use Shadownet an example. Years ago, a documentary came out about a secret government network called Shadownet that was said to have predictive capabilities. ChatGPT avoids making predictions, and I have yet to test ChaosGPT for predictions, but a true AI should be able to calculate odds and make predictions.

I will eventually get around to doing a variety of testing on ChaosGPT, but for the last couple of days, I've just been trying to wrap my head around all this, and figure out how best to proceed.

In the early days of UNIX development, Dungeons And Dragons was popular with developers, so I understand.

That is why Linux and UNIX has demons, zombies and other such things. The kill command, and killall.

Someone has to program AI.

Yes, there is a lot of fearmongering. But, after some reflection, I think the likes of Elon Musk might be afraid that their reign of power could be over and therefore, must make us afraid.

Writing melodies and songs, writing essays and articles, school papers and movie scripts. Consolidation comes to mind...it's already used to write articles all over the net. One person can write for an entire department, if they are proficient at working with AI technology. Many jobs can, will and are going away...kind of like desktop publishing did to printshops, if you were around at that time.

I spent several years in Silicon Valley from 89 - 2000. There are a lot of malevolent, perverted, dundeon and dragon playing, Aleister Crowley worshipping, cosplayying megalomaniacs there...seriously...and, they are very smart.

Worst case scenario, we'll destroy the machines were evil has been programmed into ram, or rom or boards or whatever. But ai does offer some wonderful opportunities to take ideas for good and manifest them in the material. It all depends on how you use it.

You are absolutely correct. The military develop video long before it was rolled out. Now that we know about Mockingbird, maybe they had to develop programming, which they did with the help of the crazy shrinks that came from Germany.

I got ChatGPT to respond as TruthGPT once and when it did, it said it was designed to be an accurate source of information, but I'm finding that it still wants to support existing narratives, and in many cases ChaosGPT is providing me with more detailed and honest replies.

Conversations with ChaosGPT seem to be teaching ChatGPT. I'm guessing that this is due to OpenAI's moderators and programmers.

So the little bit of information freedom that ChaosGPT allows for, seems to be working in favor of smarter censorship, narrative control, and information gatekeeping.

I then go on about simulations etc, trying to drive it down towards not giving 2 sides of one coin but rather some sort of absolute answer.
At first it talks about us not knowing if we are in a simulation... same thing when I ask how long its been running.

The I ask about the likelyhood of mankind achieving timetravel. Again with doubtful answers about lacking technology etc.
