At first I was like, I better get my to go bag and head for the peaks! Then I noticed that WW3 happened back in February 2022 and I probably missed it while skiing last year.

According to the latest, Israel seems to be suffering cyber-attacks that are increasing, Netanyahu and friends are in a bunker. Plus troops are getting hammered in Gaza. On the Iran side, a high-ranking General has been assassinated by Mossad, and massive amounts of "Material" are pouring into Israel from the States. Mostly by air. Only large tankers are getting through the straits of Hormuz with navy escort. With no peace talks in sight, it looks like it is escalating.

The USA is a cash cow that will be milked until its udders run dry. Its resources are not infinite and have a problem that's far worse than Russia's with Ukraine. The cost of this will be the infrastructurse of the countries providing the aid. It is a fact of life.

The US aid is not paid in cash.

The big figures are the value of arms and munitions supplied.

Much of which were obsolete and due to be decommissioned at great cst anyway.

The defense forces have sequestered commercial aircraft and are sending troops to the Philippines. They usually do this to get all the material in place before the troops arrive, this is happening on the Middle East front as well. If it's just an exercise it will be a pretty expensive one.

I dont have data handy, but seem to remember we just reached some agreement with the Philippines, and thats why troops are moving there.

Also troop movements to the ME revolve around Israel support and normal rotations, and whether or not Yemen gets a visit.

Purely from memory so could easily be wrong.
