British parliamentary authorities are calling in the police after a newspaper reported that traces of coc aine had been found at numerous sites in Parliament.

House of Commons Speaker Lindsay Hoyle said he was contacting police after the Sunday Times reported that illegal drugs were being used inside Parliament buildings.

The newspaper said tests using drug detection wipes found traces of coc aine in 11 locations that are only accessible by accredited parliamentary lawmakers, staff and journalists, including a washroom near Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s parliamentary office.

“The accounts of drug misuse in Parliament given to the Sunday Times are deeply concerning -- and I will be raising them as a priority with the Metropolitan Police th

I wonder how widespread this is.

With all the Fentanyl going around and being mixed in everything else, you'd have to be crazy to do coc aine or heroin nowadays

If any of the scummy MPs are proven guilty (someone has used it in there) then they should face the same punishment any of us mere mortals face, lock em up.

But reality is nothing will come of it, other than being tomorrows chip paper, I have no issue per say with what people want to put into their own bodies but the fact they have the gall to do it where laws are meant to be made and while being paid by the taxpayer, disgusting.

Explains why politicians either seem to be high as a kite or nursing some form of hangover...

On a more serious note. It doesn't matter if every single one of them is snorting half of Columbia up their snout before attending because the rules don't seem to apply to the Government here now that... Covid

PS: I do find this quite funny timing given this news today...

Users of class A drugs in UK face losing passports, say reports of proposals Boris Johnson expected to launch 10-year plan this week to tackle drug-related crime

Let's be real, they don't have to worry about it being laced, they get the butter.

There have been been tests done in the parliamentary toilets for years / decades and they've always come up positive so I'm surprised Lindsay Hoyle is making a fuss of this ... other than he's a former Labour politician of course.

I guess the police have to be informed as it's parliament but the result will be the same as the other times.

Tory boys.

Drunks using coc aine. This is news?

Parliament is a mix of two words a French word meaning to speak and also the other to colour the truth. " to speak lies " parlez lament.

Coke is absolutely everywhere in the UK and at levels that I think are continuously underestimated.

Prohibition simply isn't working.
A different approach is required.

T&C prevent me from going into greater detail.

Very true. I live in a small midlands market town and it's got a new nickname "Powder Town". Go figure. I could go into why the police don't seem to be doing anything about it, if you've got half a brain cell you will know.

I don't think there's that much Fentanyl bashed in over here in the UK, for the majority of users by the time they get their supply its been stepped on that many times with crap dealers really should be prosecuted under the Trade Descriptions Act.

As has been commented on, I doubt that's a problem for those Tory Boys and Champagne Socialists that infest Parliament.

Ha ha ha.

More of the same: political rhetoric for the masses.

I'd suggest that about 80-90% of regular coc aine users are recreational/social users who function as otherwise law abiding citizens with regular jobs and family lives etc.

As for the control, money and power the trade gives criminals?
Simple answer: if its not a crime they lose all that.

I've probably said too much.

When asked about the traces of beak ( coc aine) found in parliament he just babbled a load of $hit about county line gangs and being compassionate to the 300000 users of class A drugs and completely ignored the fact he just said he’s going to take the passports of the 300000 users . doesn’t mention anything about all the users in parliament and there passports ..
something tells me old Boris likes a line 😁

It's the section of users that are addicted/dependent because of trauma, abuse and mental health issues I worry about.
Once you take away the coping mechanisms without helping them recover... not going to be very pretty with suicides for starters and further developments later.

This country seems to be getting more authoritarian by the week right now at least with the sound bytes.
Reality, nothing is really working and I think they have lost the dressing room now sort of thing coming out with absolute mince.
