I agree that I hope the scum are prosecuted swiftly and severely.

However, it doesn't really detract from the need for continued action and vigilance against far left mayhem that has gripped US cities for 9 days.

It feels to me, especially in the MSM, that the narrative pushed has been that "white supremacists" have been mixed into the rioting crowds in considerable numbers and helping to fuel the destruction, which is some of the most blatantly untrue reporting I've read/seen in my lifetime.

We know that far right groups are out there and trying to exploit this situation (of course they would), but to suggest they have been playing an active hand in much of the violence and destruction is an outrageous attempt at deflection that flies in the face of the actual video feeds we see and much of the data about arrests I've read.

I agree, but I think it's too late. We've reached a tipping point that I don't see ever coming back to normal. You can't even call liberals equal anymore without being called a racist. And no, I don't consider this a "new normal" because there are millions of people out there that have been pushed too far and are not going to hesitate to push back.
