I was torn between General, NWO, Rant and Mud-Pit for this one.

Unless a person can turn off all of their sensory input devices, sooner or later one is going to hear the phrase which makes my head want to explode every time I hear it:

"We're all in this together."

And it drives me crazy! That, and all 55,000 permutations of the same phrase.

Here's the problem...we're NOT 'all in this together'! Why? Well, first of all, because this theme is the exact OPPOSITE of "Social Distancing", which makes us...all in this ALONE! All in this APART! Politicians have isolated society so nobody is doing anything "together". So why the message about 'all in this together'????

If I didn't know better, I'd think a couple "Trillion" of all this stimulus money went into some massive advertising scheme to BRAINWASH people into finding some sense of 'community' and 'togetherness' from being kept APART. Is this some 'social engineering' operation to make the general population accept the "New Normal"? Being 'apart' really means being 'together'???? And actually being together really means the opposite, something bad, something you should resist against.

Forget the cliche' of 'all in this together' for a moment, and consider the underpinning psyop here. Something is going on with this message, some larger undercurrent of societal control and acceptance of a 'normal' where nothing will ever be normal again. A fundamental teardown of society.

Are YOU "all in this together"???

I think NOT!

You must lack imagination if you can't understand how we are all truly in this together.

It effects the entire species. It's going to change the way we do everything.

Yeah....??? I'm not getting that "we're all in this together" message. I don't see it on TV, I don't see it in the media (e& P), and I don't hear it on the radio.

All I hear and see is "you're all in this together".

The sock puppets are not on your side, just sayin.

Being in the same situation and faced with the same problem doesn't require everybody to be hanging out together.

My take: whether I, you, or anyone else likes it or not, we are "all in this together".

Is it trite to say so ad nauseum? Sure. Buzzphrases chafe.

I get what you're saying FCD, and you're right, but that's why it's called a "psyop". It flies under most peoples radar and they accuse YOU of not having any imagination.

BINGO!!

How could anyone ever argue with such a 'wholesome' message, right???

How DARE anyone take issue with such a 'uniting' theme?

I think those who lack imagination are the ones who gobble up this message hook, line and sinker!

It might makes sense in a place like a nursing home where you have a staff and they're trying to work a policy to keep their residents protected and they really do have a group all working through it together.

But for most of us, it's not even true. We're all in small family groups at best, individuals at worst. And we're not together. If we are, they send the cops after us.

I haven't seen or heard the question answered..
IN WHAT TOGETHER ?
WITH WHOM ?
WHEN ?

To me it is just a juvenile , meaningless phrase.
Something like , "Keep On Truckin"

All in this together??? Really?

What has your community leadership, your government, done for YOU?

All they've done is isolate you, take away your livelihood, make you 'alone' and miserable! The exact antithesis of 'togetherness'...yet they try to make it all seem okay by burning this message of 'all in this together' into your brain!

If you don't have TP, is someone going to come to your aid? Think about it...the very essence of the issue surrounding TP is all about what? Selfishness, not togetherness. The message from one side of the forked-tongue politicians is 'all in this together', and then in the same breath they say...YOU will stay home, YOU will obey, YOU will believe us, or YOU will be detained; because WE will do nothing for you!

All in this together, huh?

At first, when I first started seeing and hearing this mantra, I just chalked it up to companies trying to make a buck by reverse-spinning a bad situation (and there definitely is some of this), but after seeing the level of saturation this message has been given, everywhere you look, there's something more to it. It's like programming.

You WILL believe...we're all in this together!

At it's core, the message is socialist. There's that ugly word, 'socialism'. You cannot survive unless you are part of the hive, part of the flock.

Notice the message is NOT..."You are independent, you are a survivor...YOU can do this alone". Did you ever wonder why? Think about it!

Because they don't want you thinking this way! Independence and self reliance is the exact opposite of the message 'we're all in this together'. All being 'in this together' implies you can't survive without all those people you're not allowed to get within six feet of. That you need someone 'else' of that together group to pull through this. The reality is the exact opposite. You will live or die...on your OWN, not together.

People need to WAKE TF UP!

Since this not the Mudpit, a short flippant answer is not going to cut it. So hang in there while I tell you the truth of the situation.

“We’re all in this together” is such a catchy tag line: warm, comforting, familiar and inspiring. Where have you hear it before? Benjamin the donkey in Orwell’s Animal Farm said repeatedly; only he said “I will work harder.” The truth is closer to #AloneTogether.

What we are witnessing is the collapse into socialism/communism that could never happen in America. Well, not while everything was normal...hence the creation of “the new normal” in which two months of lost tax reviews that pays for public schools, safety net programs, all the bread and circuses...

Ask your local venue how much they have collected and paid in taxes for concerts the past two month compared to this time last year? The Ohio State Fair...already cancelled this year. Movie theaters? Plays? And those are just entertainment dollars. How much in taxes has been lost in per gallon of gasoline sales? Your direct income while making Tik Tok videos at home instead of working?

The piper will be paid, and will be paid by jacking the taxes. Bet on that. So now that you are working for 1/2 to maybe only 1/3 of you prevailing wage (already happening at livestock auctions for meat animals by the way...some have said 25 cents on the dollar of just a few months ago), how much help will you need from daddy government then?

Covid is the gateway to a government take over. Just remember that it is “Selfish to not wear a mask.” The brute squad needs them to quickly identify the wolves amongst the sheep.

"Unified" is only one of the senses of the word "together".

"Considered collectively" is another.

Judging by the news from all the different states, we're less all in this together all the time. Some of us are more equal than others, and the rising unrest shows that plenty of us are over it.

Our governor sports neatly trimmed hair and beard for every news conference, but every other 'We're in this together Joe Schmoe' can't go to a barber because they are all closed.
Most businesses are closed... but if you apply for a waiver, there is a chance to open up. How are the waivers granted? That is a good question, because there is no transparency to that process. But I can tell you this, the governor's private business, a kitchen cabinet manufacturing facility was not closed... BUT it was the only kitchen cabinet manufacturer open from the start, and for weeks, no waivers were granted to the other ones in the state.
All in it together?
I have worked at an essential business without any time off during the whole debacle. Due to work load being low at the beginning of this fiasco, some of our field employees (not all!) were laid off. Some of them made more money sitting at home than they did working. The others continued to do their job making the same pay....
'All in it together', say it everyone!

It's not just selfish to not wear a mask, it is patriotic to wear a mask and it will be patriotic to download the Trace-Tracker on your phone, and it will be brave and patriotic to turn in your neighbors if they are seem hugging or having a bbq.

"We're all in this together" ignores the rights of the individual.

Each and every day!

But each and every day the message shows up more and more, almost as if in direct response to people saying, BS, I'm done with this!

It's a mind-screw, and it's intentional...and it's on a BIG scale! This is a serious PsyOp happening right before our eyes!

It is a major psyop. People are glued to and hypnotized by undead MSM in their homes trying to figure out what's happening while spending most of the time avoiding bankruptcy and hunger. Being normalized.

To feel the cult behaviour vibe it's a must to watch some of the latest Paul J. Watson's goosebumpy vids.
UK is in the lead for some freaking reason. Canada is only Orwellian. It's abused in places where there's a need to fight the right wing. It's obviously a left wing coup using a freaking cold virus made in China. The whole globalist system is striking back with everything they have.
It will end up collapsing or we become China. There's nothing in the middle anymore. Hold the line

Nope.

And it reminds me of the stupid Vikings meme, "when this is over, please continue to stay 6' away from me." Ford perfect!

We are not "all in this together." You can F yourself to death with your "new normal." This list goes on.

My intellectual friends are all congratulating themselves on their new quarantine bods or hustles. They barely had a bod when they were 23. The only hustle I ever saw was for more blow in the late 80s. But the one thing that really bothers me the most about their idiotic memes and chain letters shaming people for not "social distancing" enough or wearing their masks right or whatever is the smug superiority that comes with never having to consider that the person bringing them a beer when they are out at a bar or restaurant is actually an employee earning a paycheck.

Get used to a world without packed, sweaty clubs filled with enthralled music lovers who can't wait for the next act to light up the stage? No. F that world and F everyone in it.

A world without concerts isn't worth it. A world without dancing isn't worth it. A world without food and friends and sharing plates and drinks + trying new combinations isn't worth it.

A world of people like me who can work from home and who can still afford to have liquor delivered while the guy building the world's largest jumbotron and the couple who serves amazing food + bar tends is out of a job and broke isn't worth it.

The virus is real and the problems we face are enormous. Our feckless leaders have exposed themselves and they are thoroughly unprepared to actually lead or are incompetent. Our media is pure propaganda. We can't tell the truth from the fiction on purpose. By design.

For ad-clicks.

It ain't worth it. Our "experiment" cannot meet the challenges of the new century or the size and diversity of our population. What is right for NYC isn't even good for Denver, let alone Smallville. They are not the same and cannot be treated or governed the same.

We need a plan B.
