hasn't been a little bit since we saw some ballistic missile shows??

www.voanews.com...

The North used multiple rocket launchers to fire the "short-range projectiles" from the eastern town of Sondok in South Hamgyong Province, said South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff. The weapons flew for about 200 kilometers at a maximum altitude of 50 kilometers, it added.

And how do you feel about the White House shutting down travel from China, like they did, when they did? Was that a good or bad move? Was it bigotry?

Don't be silly, of course it wasn't bigotry.

I hate debating science it’s like arguing with PI .

I agree.

I'm just looking at numbers. And they constantly change. But usually remain consistent.

That's why math and science remain constant. They don't lie.

I think they’re mixing math and science .

With a cherry picking and hyperbole as we speak .

That’s a lie in my book .

But they are reporting that China is coming back online and things are returning to normal there.
So what's the truth?

Eventually they are going to have to test for antibodies to see how many were exposed and recovered before they can have true numbers.

I think it's been here in the US for about six weeks longer than they are saying and that it has already spread further then they know.

sounds like a great plan......send all the healthy people to where the sick people are so we can see if you were exposed.....genius!!!

And that is still ten times higher than the flu death rate.

Leve!ing off in the hardest first hit areas.

We have weeks and weeks longer to deal with this here.

Note:
On February 3rd we had one case here.
Now forty three days later we are in the thousands.

from your link:

"For countries able to achieve it, this leaves suppression as the preferred policy option," the researchers wrote. "In the U.K. and U.S. context, suppression will minimally require a combination of social distancing of the entire population, home isolation of cases, and household quarantine of their family members. This may need to be supplemented by school and university closures."

it sure is lucky the bad orange man is recommending and people are already doing these things here
whew
we sure are lucky

I love the way people act like those over 65 are just disposable goods.

There are no interstate travel bans.

Matter of fact no one is being quarantined. They are advising separation and closing venues where crowds gather.
That's all.
Go to the park. Lots of space and fresh air and sunshine.
Have a picnic.

The mortality is not what has Health Authorities panicking though - and as such i don't understand people's obsession with it. The issue with Covid 19 is how infectious it is with the worry being the strain that puts on healthcare systems looking after ill people.

As demonstrated in numerous articles (and threads!) there simply aren't enough beds to care for the sick if we don't take action.

Although, speaking of numbers, 1% of the UK population is 660'000 people. For the USA it would be 3.271 million (would be amazed if it got that high though).

Again though, it is the strain it puts on healthcare, not the mortality rates, that is the issue.
