Was that not Police and other authorities?

How many people would have been injured or killed if the muppet had had a gun?

My bet is more than two, put it that way.
There is no other way of "putting" anything, a knife wielding terrorist hurt people and was gunned down, firearms saved the day, FACTS.

Highly trained armed police officers saved the day.

Firearms are just inanimate objects as we are constantly told by certain posters.

Nope, police intervened and prevented further injury or death by way of shooting the perp.

With a tool that just happened to be a gun.

The Police recovered the day, nothing more, nothing less.

Keep your guns we dont want them in the hands of our public for very obvious reasons.

Thats not the problem. The problem is the UK's "Run, Hide, and call your Mom policy" as Opposed to the "Beat Their Little Ass First and Ask Questions later" policy used by most US police forces.

Ive never know anyone to run and hide, shy away from any Terrorist #e that's trying to cause it in the UK.

Christ, we fly kick the feckers whilst they are still aflame when they try and fail to attack our airports aka Smeaton, the off duty baggage handler. LoL

Terrorist ffs???, Canny even produce a decent caliber these days.

Just stop, you sound ridiculous, "With a tool that happened to be a gun", what other "tool" would they use? Whistle and baton with a polite, "Stop!!" 😂

Firearms saved the day.

I'm no officer, yet highly trained in weapons, as are other ATS users.

Secondly, be glad firearms are of use, otherwise, the "public" you speak so ill of and requires no firearms, sounds pretty dangerous, I mean there was a knife attack *shrugs*.

You don't have to be LEO to be highly trained with firearms.

Did the gun arrive at the scene assess the situation and then take appropriate action?

Nope, not in the slightest.

That would have been the police.

No buts its a lot better not having lots of inadequately trained people with them.

Lol, "did a gun arrive at the scene"?

Well, if there was an enlightened, smart and armed citizens, there would be no knife attack, now would there?

Work with me here bruh.

Yes, Armed Police did solve the problem.

But the FACT remains that the introduction of MORE guns into UK society would result in increased armed incidents.

WE DO NOT WANT MORE GUNS IN THE UK

That in no way impacts your own Right to Bear Arms etc, and nor should it. That is your business.

Your insistence on making this a Gun Control issue detracts from the real issue here; terrorists, the vast majority of whom are Islamic, committing acts of terror against people.

Letting people walk around with guns will not deter them but will only increase their availability to them
This is not the USA where there are guns literally everywhere.

We need to find a way of eradicating these #ing scumbags from our society and in order to do that we need a level of openness and honesty that no-one in authority seems willing to want.

We have our problems over here, plenty of them, we do not want to exacerbate them by throwing a #ing # load of guns into the mix.....something the vast majority of people on all sides agree on.

So your saying the two poor souls that got stabbed are somehow not enlightened or smart?

Guns kill people a hell of a lot more effective and efficient that knives do thats just plain hard fact.

Your not giving any of us much to work with other than "Guns are good, guns solve problems".

Thing is they also help shape, create, and inflame the situation more often than not.

Hence our ambivalence to allow every tom, dick and harry to have access to them.

Quite simple really.

Freeborn has done an excellent job of pushing the discussion as to why, you didn't.

All I got from you was, "Guns bad! Reeee!".

Freeborn made a point of focus with which firearms will not be the answer, especially to radical ideologies.

You on the otherhand simply remarked that your people and society are simply ill equipped to understand and maintain firearms, you do your people a disservice *shrugs*
