There is certainly a conversation, hopefully a rational one to be had about healthcare in America. Personal, government funded single payer is the "nuts" just not going to happen without the worst tax increase we have seen in 5 decades.

That said, I agree whole heatedly that the medical system in America is broken but I will say I largely feel that way because our past American presidents didn't make the right deals. People in South America, Europe and the Middle East pay 1/8th in some case as what we do because the countries demanded that price point if the the drug was going to be sold there.

What did America get? The greatest country on Earth? Well, let me tell you....... The highest drug prices so that politicians and go between could suck up that extra money and blame it on insurance needs. It's a scam, a poorly thought out and implemented scam but you have to no choice but to play cause it's not a card game in 1879, you cant call bull# and shoot the person that is robbing you.

We have all been getting robbed for decades for medical treatment and drugs (Perception) This is being worked on right now but the Trump administration.

Yeah, I know the links, I have read the articles. I think we could both agree that "big pharma" is one of the universal problems that is hardest to overcome because they are prevalent in every nation on Earth because we depend on them to essentially stay alive.

What I am saying is that at the end of the day, no matter who is at the helm, these companies are already "to big to fail" you can't shut them down and you honestly can't even regulate them the way they should be, because, not many people can do what they do.

What you can do is push leverage the best way you can and if I am being honest, Obama never did that even as a passing thought. That said, neither did the presidents before him because it's a daunting task and a losing proposition especially if that was something you campaigned on.

There is simply too much money in the pharmaceutical industry to try to politically strong arm them into doing the right thing. I charge that from the drug makers to the distributors all the way down to the local state aid office that withholds medical treatment that isn't life threatening.

The fact is, we are starting to see the system change, for the first time since I can every remember being alive, that is a big deal. We have no solids yet, I will give you that but as compared to the Dems hopefulls, we may be able to save a few trillion dollars! lol
