Hi all,

After 9 US citizens were brutally killed in Mexico recently. Trump called for a war on the cartels.
source

Unlike the other threads this thread will look at the history behind the war that is being called for. I don't want this thread to be another thread about the drugs. I would like to shed light on the history that is being missed and the true role the LeBaron family is playing.

It may surprise you to learn that contrary to how things are being portayed in the media, the LeBaron family is not your typical US family. The family has a long history in Mexico and has been directly involed in an ongoing dispute with the cartels.

The video below was posted 7 years ago and will provide more details than i care to type on my mobile.
WARNING GRAPHIC VIDEO

As you see this family has an extensive history in Mexico, they have blood on their own hands and have "stood up" to the Cartels.

You also see this not a "war" that should be taken lightly. I will keep my opinions out of this thread, i have shared them in others. I will let you decide if this is truly a war you think the US citizens want now a glimpse of the history is laid out.

I fully support a war against the most direct of terroristic threat against the US that is the mexican drug cartels. Because of both their proximity and their effect on our country.

As opposed to the threats we seem to prioritize that are "worlds away" across vast expansion of water and land.

Time to clean up our own backyard(our own .gov involvement included).

If not, the only other option is to lock down(NO passing) and militarize our southern border. I'd be fine with either.

Central and south american threats are no less influential to our nation than middle eastern("physical") or eastern euro/asian economical(asia/russian) threats.

Shut that # down....if the government(ours) actually cared about doing what it "preaches".

Hey MrSpock, i just posted and see you have added your opinion already.

I respect that but please check the vid when you have a chance and let me know if anything changes and if you think the current portrayal of the LeBarons are being used as a tool to gain support in a misleading way. Thanks

I added a rather large portion of my post for reference. Based on what I believe the video you posted, that I may have seen a few years ago, is about.

All right, so I do think it might be a good idea to get American troops involved in ousting the corrupt cartels from Mexico. I think the cartels may have infiltrated the Mexican government and police/military.

Not sure how to go about this, I would recommend Trump try and find a legal way to do it, I know he likes to do things his own way, it gets him in trouble sometimes.'

But American troops are allowed to go to other countries to help them fight terrorists, so? Seems reasonable?

MAY...MAY have infiltrated the government???

The mexican government is pretty much a narco state that ONLY represents and emboldens the cartels. It's not even questionable.

It's also not even questionable that a large portion of our(US) dark ops are involved. Either way, it definitely needs to be rooted out. With or without the mexican governments permission, IMO.

They(mexican "government"/"military") can either get on board, get out of the way or be cannon fodder when the US gets the BALLS to take this terroristic threat on.

That's my thoughts.

We run so much hardware and personal against those "middle eastern" threats, when we should be bombing the # out of and dumping special ops all over those south of the boarder.

If for no other reason then they pose the larger threat set forth by those that perpetuate the criteria for what is a "threat" to the US.

Sure, the cartels will cry foul, even the mexican "government" will kick and scream about it. But at the end of the day the threat is more real than any religious nutjub group half the world away.

# it, I'm all in. I want to see mexico get lit up like the fourth of july...and you know what. The REAL mexican people will rejoice in the US laying waste to the violent(cartels) and the corrupt(government) when our rockets of freedom blow those bastards off the face of the earth.

Mexico, both the government and their terroristic leaders(the cartels) have danced in the shadows for long enough, and they have had, for some reason, luck largely on their side.

If any region is deserving of the full force of the US MIC is worthy of their focus, it's them. I guess it's hopefully time, IMO.

In the next decade, the only focus our forces should have, as far as a direct response to a threat on our nation, should be the physical threat from central and southern america, as well as the financial threat from china. We should have no more focus than that other than the barest of support from prior protectionary treaties.

Boy...looking back at my past few posts, I hate to come off as some weird "nuke mexico" guy.

But with modern nuclear tech and a few strategically place nukes,I really think mexico would thank us 10 or 20 years down the line.....

ETA: I think it's fair to frame my responses with the fact that I'm hammered "check out my scotch review.." and to point out that my current online stalking victim is actually mexican.....Eiza González....So It's totally not racist you wacko lefties.....

No. Nuke Mexico is appropriate.

Just tactical nukes.

I wonder how a war on Mexico (cartels) would affect China and their billion dollar business investment of pure lab grade fentanyl analogues being pumped through our southern borders. Things that taste nice

You seem to use sources that support the Drug Cartels in Mexico in this and other writings and you haven't been called out yet.

So you claim to have no opine? Way so disingenuous? Your thread says it all. So what was Trumps 1st war? Just another disinformation operative specialist pushing disinformation. Did you write this to protect the Cartels or is this a simple attempt to sway ATS public opinion. I mean yes, those twin babies along with the rest of the children have blood all over them. What are your attempting to say? That they are not as they seem?

Why are you celebrating the killing of babies?

It’s the dumbest idea I’ve heard from the Trump administration. And that’s saying something.

Imagine the refugee crisis that would be created at our southern border. The border would be flooded. Then imagine how much all those private prison corporations that are connected to Donald Trump would make off of it. But I’m sure that’s just a coincidence, as people here would want you to believe.

The people that think bombing Mexico would get rid of drug cartels obviously have no understanding of the nature of what they’re talking about. That much should be obvious from their responses in this thread. All that would happen is more innocent people would die, drug prices would go up giving the criminals that are involved more money and more power, more violence would break out on our side of the border because of that, and our border would be flooded with an amount of refugees escaping violence that has never been seen in the history of this country. It’s ironic that the same people who rant about the border being under siege are right here calling for something that would guarantee that happening.

And to top it off, the cartel problem wouldn’t end. The profits made in the drug trade are enough to guarantee that. There will always be someone there to supply. For every cartel you take out, there are three more waiting to take its place. And that goes on, and on, and on. You think the Middle East is a never ending war? You ain’t seen nothing yet.

Good luck trying to convince anyone here about the reality of the situation though. They seem to live in some 1980’s action movie version of how they think things are.

You mean "they" as in those which beat down the Mexican military when cartel boy was captured? Or "they" whom just slaughtered the recent family members in question? or "they" that murdered a Mexican special task force officer in broad daylight (over 150 bullets) just a few days ago? There is more to the "theys" activities and percentage of 37,000 murders in Mexico alone this year. I could add more, but what I state is easy to find in recent news....but Trump is bad for offering assistance?

On that note, the use of the word 'war' does not always mean boots, tanks, planes and ships etal.
