Trump supporter that paid ONE MILLION dollars to Trump's Inaugrial Committee and Trump Appointed him Ambassador to the EU He had to amend his testimony after other witness testimony and text messages were gathered.

This is the reason why there haven’t been open hearings so far. That way, people can’t coordinate their lies.

Pretty smart.

IMO Trump using US Military Aid appropriated by congress to extort a foreign government for campaign assistance is no longer an open question.

The question is how far will his defenders go to deny the growing mountain of evidence.

Have at it.

You dems realize Trump doesn't need anyone to help beat Joe Biden right? Biden has like 7 million in his campaign coffers, he is going to fade away very soon, and Trump doesn't even need to lift a finger, the dems are canning poor old creepy, gaffe prone, dementia Joe. The whole premise is laughable.

Interesting that the day of the call Trump's favorite network had Biden Beating Trump in a general election mathc-up by 10 points, more than any other contender.

www.realclearpolitics.com...

Biden still beats trump in Fox Polls by the way. +12 points now.

Yep. Basic Investigation Protocol 101.

It is the same reason why Trump has worked hard to forbid everyone he can from testifying.

If the truth is damning, obstruct.

Yeah, two "m's" with that one.

After days and days of every single piece of evidence to the contrary from....... just about every angle you can imagine, here come's CNN with some fantastical BS that will surely drown out anything and everything. Including Epstein.

God, I love this country.

Paragraph FOUR of the testimony kills this thread, it's all based off assumptions.

In other words, he doesn't know and the liberal media, to include leftist users are hinging on Paragraph FIVE.

However, he says,

***I did not (and still don't) know why aid was held up.

***I "PRESUMED" it was because of corruption.

***I told Yermak my ASSUMPTIONS.

In otherwords, it is all based off assumptions and misinterpretation, Sondland doesn't actually know anything, so he assumes lol.

No quid Pro Quo. You people got nothing.

President Zelensky ran on anti corruption and WON, He has said NO pressure and also agreed that it was a good call with President Trump, even calling him a "great teacher".

No aid witheld, no meetings witheld, nothing, nada mas.

Lol......and you believe this BS don’t you?

What is it with the left and making # up as they go along? I’m baffled as to why so many people believe the crap they’re being fed by the dems. Someone need to educate them and let them know that ignorance is not a virtue.

Are you saying the quotes from Sondland are not from Sondland. Or are you saying he never said this?

I’m saying this whole farce perpetrated by the dem party is a pathetic eff’n joke and you have to be a ignorant imbecile to believe anything currently coming from the mouth of the dem party. Does that clear up my stance on the subject for you?

They’re spending millions of taxpayer dollars on these bogus witch hunts. Not to mention the fact that they’re hypocrites and more corrupt than the people they’re accusing, it’s a pathetic mockery of this country’s government. The Democratic Party has completely ignored the corruption and crimes on their side of the fence. I have no better word to describe them than pathetic.

"Presumed"

By his own admission, Sondland doesn't know why the aid was held up. He's just guessing.

If this is the worst info Schiff can dump, then just save us the effort and issue a formal apology to Trump now, because he's got nothing.

BTW:

...“kept getting more insidious,” evolving from a general interest in fighting corruption, to an interest in Burisma, and finally to an investigation of the Bidens—and that Sondland “assumed” such an investigation, as pursued by Giuliani with Trump’s support, would be illegal.

This sounds like a very logical and sensible evolution. Burisma is responsible for embezzling a massive amount of IMF funding. It's probably the worst example of Ukrainian corruption you can name. Biden and his son's actions with Burisma are a textbook example of a politician taking a bribe -- a classic example of corruption.

As I've said before, the Dem's entire mindset seems to hinge on the idea that running for president somehow makes it illegal to investigate you. (But only if you're a Democrat.)

Glad you made it to page four.

His revised testimony is at the end.

He was directed by Trump to work with Giuliani for the QPQ.

Sondland testified that Trump and Giuliani’s positions “kept getting more insidious,” evolving from a general interest in fighting corruption to an interest in Burisma and finally to an investigation of the Bidens. The EU envoy noted he was not a lawyer but said he “assumed” an effort to pressure Ukraine to do so, as pursued by Giuliani with Trump’s support, would be illegal.

www.politico.com...

More depositions will be released this week leading up to a vote.

Perhaps Giuliani should testify? Or Trump? Nothing to hide, Right?

Didn't Giuliani go live on air and say they have proof Trump was starting an investigation into the Biden's long before April 2019? You know, long before Biden announced his run for presidency?

Kind of hard to influence elections when you don't know who is running for president, don't you think?

Rudy has said some wild things on air, at least until recently when his friends got indicted and he realized he was likely the target of a Grand Jury Investigation.

I only care about what Rudy Giuliani says under oath.

It's long past due that he testify publicly and clear things up.

It seems he didn't really change his testimony so much as add to it.

He sure saw Giuliani as a stumbling block.

Sondland Updates Impeachment Testimony, Describing Ukraine Quid Pro Quo

The disclosure from Gordon D. Sondland, the United States ambassador to the European Union, in four new pages of sworn testimony released on Tuesday, confirmed his involvement in laying out a quid pro quo to Ukraine that he had previously not acknowledged. The issue is at the heart of the impeachment investigation into Mr. Trump, which turns on the allegation the president abused his power to extract political favors from a foreign power.

Mr. Trump has consistently maintained that he did nothing wrong and that there was no quid pro quo with Ukraine.

Mr. Sondland’s testimony offered several major new details beyond the account he gave the inquiry in a 10-hour interview last month.

This same information has been revealed by other witnesses testimony.
How will the senate view it if it clearly shows that trump was looking not for corruption but for help in his 2020 campaign from a foreign country using congressionally approved funding as extortion to get it?

What is the new talking point going to be?
Yeah we were involved in quid pro quo...
Get over it?
So what?
Quid pro quo isnt illegal?
They got the money?

That doesn't sound insidious to me. That sounds like logical steps taken when given certain information. Sondland must have an odd understanding of insidious.

Clearly you didn't read what I wrote above. Biden is corrupt. He and his son took money from a company that misappropriated billions of dollars in IMF funding.

Exposing Biden and exposing corruption are synonymous. The people who are angry about it are the ones who benefitted from the corruption.
