You start off by saying "i know all politicians lie," but then you go on to accept Bernie's claims to a T. In fact he is not pro 2nd Amendment. in an interview in which he was made angry by the host he stated he wanted to confiscate all firearms, except maybe shotguns. i made a thread about that particular interview, as well as about an oped he himself wrote on the New York Times. I am having a hard time finding those threads.

Here is another however. Bernie Sanders continues to be the same communist he was during most of his adulthood life. Since he couldn't sell socialism/communism he had to claim to have changed his views, but he hasn't.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

As for your question, "would he really be that bad?" Yes he will, and then some.

His trade policy is pretty much the same as the failure in chiefs.

Plus neither Trump with federal red flag laws or bernie with assault weapons can do anything the court won't overturn.

On the local level under public safety yes. Court has said legal. Federal has been a problem.

As mayor of Burlington VT, he drove cancer patients across the US/Canadian border so they could purchase much more affordable chemo.

Just a couple of weeks ago as a US Senator and 2020 presidential candidate he lead a caravan of diabetic patients across the US/Canadian border to purchase affordable insulin that they couldn’t afford in the US. “For example, the same vial of insulin that costs $270.00 in Detroit, MI costs only $27.00 in Canada.”

He has a long detailed history going back 40 years. I bet there’s more.

That's just a political stunt. There is an equal amount, or even a larger amount, of Canadians whom cross the border into the U.S. to get medical care.

Wrong. If you are talking about POTUS Trump his policies are as different from Bernie Sanders' as night is different from day. Before Trump was POTUS economists were already stating that they doubted anyone could revive our economy, but POTUS trump did...

As for Bernie Sanders, he wants government to completely control all businesses, and for him directly to dictate whom will be in charge of the Federal Reserve.

As for the courts, democrats are already demanding millions of pages/documents about Bret Kavanaugh. Just like they limited what POTUS Trump can do with their constant flase claims about "collusion with Russia and obstruction" they are planning to do the same with Kavanaugh and any other SCOTUS that get in the way of the democrats turning the U.S. into socialism...

Most ‘stunts’ don’t drag on for forty plus years. “From Mayor 1981 to Senator 2019.”

He’s been fighting for human rights for as long as I’ve been living; a good man.

Is he still for free college and free health care.?

Border stance?

Its physically impossible to have health care for all and other free socialist programs.

In the u.s. there are more people who will never work 1 day of their lives then there are people.who do.
There are more people who never cared 1 second about their health or contributed one penny towards healthcare then there are those who do pay.

So any such socialist plan would be very radical and bankrupt the ones who do pay.
Bernie will just tell them they have to pay alittle .more.

Oh and is this the guy who wrote fantasy rape stories , saying women secretly want to be raped?

Cant be?

Advocating socialism is the opposite to ‘fighting for human rights’

No it's not. We have it here in the UK - the National Health Service.

Yeah, he really would be that bad.

I'd echo why, but other people have already covered it multiple times in this thread.

Does the NHS allow anyone in the world to arrive there and get free medical treatment? Thats a genuine question, I really dont know. I dont see how it would be sustainable that way, even with the insulation an island provides.

Sounds like a proposal destined for failure to me, but it seems to be what the democrats are platforming on.

After listening to him calmly and eloquently explaining his policies on Joe Ricans podcast I have to admit I was super impressed. I am not a big fan of the tax hikes that go along with his agenda but I believe our system of checks and balances would keep him in check. Short answer is no I don't think he would be that bad.

"Bernie Sanders: Would he really be that bad.?.?"

I want to answer to this. Yes, he is really that bad. He is 77 years old now. Too old to lead U.S.A as a president. But other than that, great choice. Right now someone reads this and yells "Socialism!" but it is not that bad in, let's say, Scandinavia.

He's 5 years older than Trump but speaks clearer and more lucid, so not sure if your argument is valid.

I understand. But i just thought that elections, 2020, Bernie would be 78. Then at least one term of presidency, then 82.

I might have failed my argumentation but nevertheless, i think the train of Bernie Sanders has already left the station and he is late.

Bernie's policies would shift the American Economies meltdown into hyperdrive, since I actually love America, I can't vote for a clown that would end it.

Bernie... say what you want about his policies, but I think he appears to be a straight shooter. Hes been saying the same stuff for decades. Hes honest in a way many public figures, and most politicians are not.

Plus, hed oversee real disclosure.
