I mean if it's ok to make MJ black in spiderman it should be ok to change jane fosters character too.

But MJ wasn't changed and was introduced in the MCU as such.

Changing Jane's character or actor would hurt the continuity of the overall story telling Marvel is doing.

Natalie Portman in the first thor was like watching paint dry. Then she refused to appear in the sequels. If they insist on doing the female storyline they should have recast with a more interesting actress.

I don't mind looking at Natalie Portman,

the marvel movies are more so eye candy than serious story telling,

They try to tell a massive story and connect many things but its more so action on grand scales and eye candy in most of their movies.

If they couldn't make an agreement, Marvel and Natalie Portman, I don't think this would have been the 4th Thor movie and they would have taken a different concept out of the comics to make a 4th Thor movie.

How dare they deviate from the source material. I read a few issues when I was ten. Things should stay the same now that I am older and so mature that I don't need a safe space.

I don't really care to look. But I guarantee that one guy has been writing Thor since 1962 with no changes made to the character ever. There is no way I would of missed all the other changes to the character without going ballistic like I am now.

I am not a hypocrite.

This is a slippery slope. Next thing you know they will make Thor into a frog or go all trans-species on us and make Thor an orange alien horse thing.

I'm pretty sure Alex Jones said it best, 'I don't like them putting chemicals in my movies that turn the friggin' frogs Asgardian!"

Just say no to frog Thor.

It’s annoying, sure. But the movie pulls from the comics. They aren’t changing anything to support some grandiose conspiracy to kill white men. Are you really that offended by a movie? You don’t have to go see it, you know that right?

There was no point in shooting an assault rifle in that movie was my point. They had much better weapons on the planet. It was put in the movie for a political reason along with mocking Texas.
