Talk. Participate. Share your thoughts. Let it all out. It's not about being right. The competition is who gets the most out of his time spent on ATS. Who learns the most.
It's a carneval of opinions. And not something to be won, but to be enjoyed.

Let's be constructive and deny ignorance. Let's dare to think about the deeper meaning of things.
Will others disagree with you? For sure. That's why we are here. Why do they disagree?
Can we maybe at least here take one step away from cultural indoctrination?

ATS is one team. The searchers of the truth.
To achieve that we all work together for a greater understanding of the mechanisms that underlie our cultural personal experience.
Your contribution is valuable.
Please tell me everything about you and your story.
If you find something interesting please feel free to share your thoughts.

Long live ATS

And most of all, avoid the cliques.

They are the seed of division.

After checking myATS and messages, spend a lot of time on the Recent Posts page, to discover what people are talking about currently (and avoid making duplicate threads).

No, the cliches are necessary.

We need more of the same. It keeps us grounded in the fact we're still even here. again. still.

To the newbs, grab a cliche from the nearest thread. Hold onto it, and never, ever let it go. Then we know what clique you're in..

I have no idea what any of this means...

Its one thing to supply a platform to deny ignorance in the pursuit of exactly the points you mention, but majorically - responders seem to imply that posters comments/opinions are ignorant and when the responders response is called out as such it often turns nasty.
Although lately (last 12 mths) i have seen alot more moderator interaction leading to desirable repremanding of the line crossers.
Disagreeing diplomatically is the key, not letting feathers get ruffled caught up in the moment.
ATS is a team of seekers of the truth, lets try acting like a team.
Ive never seen a team who isnt on the same page foundationally ever get ahead.
