The article says the $500,000 was donated to Catholic charities that are assisting the migrants.
Word play, it's more like reallocation than donation.
They just took some of the money they've "consolidated" and reallocated it back to the region they've taken it from, in order to help subvert a nations sovereignty.
Oh...a financial shell game! Good point.
In that case, the Pope could have sent $50 million, and it would just be a drop in the bucket, compared to how much money Mexican Catholics donate to the church. Cheapskate Pope. Tisk..tisk..tisk.
Obviously, the gesture was meant to only be symbolic, not to actually help anyone. It's nothing more than buzz words for the global media to paint a pretty picture with while inflicting no actual change.

And, does or government even respond? Is Trump tweeting? Are they afraid of upsetting the Catholics in the US? This would normally be considered helping our enemies. Nothing?
and you know the implications of that.....

What could go wrong...? Let's see how well that goes off.... $5.00 apiece ?
Actually, $6.66 each.
Who did he donate the money to?

The important thing is that they're no longer "fleeing for their life" from some dangerous threat at home.
Any proof to that statement? What are the "some dangerous threats"?
I know things can be rough in these countries but I've yet to see anyone present any proof that the people pouring in are actually in the situation they say they are. Things are bad in Watts , South Central LA, Southside Chicago, Harlem, etc.....I don't hear about them fleeing to Canada. All of these countries they're coming from have cities that are better than our worst cities in the US. Not refuting what you're saying Care, its just that I've heard nothing but here-say about the ACTUAL locations, conditions and problems the "refugees" are fleeing, it's not being reported, just generalized.
Do any members of the forum have this info? If so, can you please share?

He was definitely being sarcastic
And no, not one single member has one shred of that info because it doesn’t exist.
These fake ‘refugees’ are most definitely NOT ‘fleeing’ from anything whatsoever.
It’s an economic migration where people have got their hands held out in front of them and are headed for the nearest welfare-state country.
They’ve been lied to by an agenda-driven group and have been supported by the libtarded. So they falsely believe they’re going to gain entry into the USA and be given free money and housing, for life.
They’re not.
As for the Pope? Half a million dollars? Ha ha haaaaaa. That’s just adding insult.
These economic migrants are not going to be granted asylum. They’re going back where they came from (with ZERO free bus rides, they’ll actually have to walk this time, that will be a serious shock) with not one single dollar in their pockets.
Unless they want to stay in Mexico. As immigrants. IF they’re allowed to. Then that’ll save them the walk back home.
Good try Soros, fail.
