The big takeaway from the Mueller report is that the Democrats and media that pushed the fact that Trump or his team illegally colluded with Russia lied to us for two years.

Now they desperately want to ignore that and deflect to things like obstruction.

One of the things that these people, and many Republicans, are now doing is claiming Mueller investigation was necessary because its primary purpose was to get to the bottom of how Russia tried to interfere with our political system. This would show it wasnt just a witch hunt to get trump, but a just investigation to protect the US from foreign influences.

This raises a big question though; what was the most impactful way that the Russians sowed discord and interfered into the US and its political process.

It certainly wasnt russian facebook trolls.

There could be a good case that the DNC hack certainly accomplished this.

But I think there is something they did that was more impactful than that. Even if you dont agree that it was more impactful, certainly any objective person would agree it was a very impactful way to sow discord in the country.

That is the Kremlin agents that gave dirt (that we know was never verified and most likely false) to Steele, an agent hired by Hillary team paid firm Fusion GPS.

Think of what the allegations in the dossier led to; a huge portion of Americans believing the claims in the dossier that Trump is a russian agent, leaks to the press to smear trump based on this before and after the election, spying on people connected to trumps campaign, and as part of the impetus for the investigations of the fbi and mueller, that are having profound effects and discord on our country even today.

So surely if Mueller was interested in investigating Russian influence, he would have had a lengthy section on this hugely successfully action of Russia in sowing discord in our country.

But nope, not one word.

How can that be?

I suggest that its because that the Mueller, nor the FBI investigation before it, was ever about stopping russian influence.

If it was, the FBI would immediately told Trump they were worried russians were trying to get into his campaign as soon as they thought that was the case (like they did with feinstein and the chinese spy).

If Mueller was about stopping russian influence and investigating it, he would have brought in steele, and the people in Fusion GPS, and found out who the kremlin agents were that lied about trump and cause so much discord. he would have reported on all of the people connected to hillary and others that had connections with russians (sometimes the very same russians he did mention in the report like deripaska and vesilnetskya)

Instead, at every level the fbi and mueller were only concerned about russians, or crimes in general, when they could be layed at the feet of people connected to trump.

And so we now have to believe mueller wasnt just engaged in a witch hunt. He was all about investigating all russian influence, and accidentally forgot to investigate the most successful part of russian influence that happened.

This was a witch hunt from the beginning.

You don't know that Mueller was silent on anything, due to all the redactions.

And again, its not like Meuller didnt know how much discord in the US these claims from Kremlin agents caused.

Everyone knew it.

Heck, once more, way back in my thread on October 26 2017 about the dossier I gave five reasons why it was such a big deal.

Here was number 3.

3. Do to the fact that it relied on Kremlin connected sources, this dossier could have actually been the most direct way for Russia to influence the US. Remember, most investigators admit that less than wanting a particular side to win, Russia just wanted to muck up the whole system and cause problems. All they had to do was give the Hillary team paid steele some salacious material, and low and behold, the government of this country has grinded to a halt, and division is higher than ever.

Yet Mueller saw no need to investigate that russian interference.

Dude, IT'S STILL A WITCH HUNT.

“Even the redacted version of the report outlines serious instances of wrongdoing by President Trump and some of his closest associates. It now falls to Congress to determine the full scope of that alleged misconduct and to decide what steps we must take going forward.”

Ridiculous. So its your claim that maybe in one of the slighlty redacted portions he covers this most effectual example of russian discord in the US?

What section would Mueller have included this in that was redacted?

There is no mention or space at all for discussion of the dnc working in tandum with kremlin agents to sow discord in the US.

It would be its own section, not lumped in with trumps teams connections to russians, or russian hacks, or russian facebook trolls like the ira.

You know one could make a argument that it is no longer Communism or Russia that every U.S. citizen should be worried about, rather the Main Stream Media is now the red of old and needs to be checked for under every rock per se!

Crazy times when the people that gave us our informative information back years ago; are now the very same people we cannot trust!

Today President Trump said some of the things in the Special Counsel report are "Total Bullsh'it".

www.foxnews.com...

The entire investigation of Trump was a witch-hunt, founded on ZERO evidence.

Republican Mueller may have intentionally thrown a delayed-fuse grenade into the lap of Congress.

They're in total disarray and conflict, over whether to pursue Trump Obstruction Investigations, or work on making life better for Americans.

Top members in Congress will see most of the report next week. Only Grand Jury material will (by law) remain redacted.

In the meantime, it's hard to accuse Mueller of being silent on the topic.

Thanks for the clarity. 😎

But the "IRA" has been indicted (along with many "others") and is an ongoing court case....

Did you read these? They are all about investigations into the Russian IRA, not trump lol. Like I said before, kicking that dead horse is just getting stinky intestines between your toes.

Mueller’s notes said that most of the retractions in the Russian collusion part of the reports were due to ongoing matter.

In all likelihood those redaction’s were due to the prosecution of the 13 Russian entities indicted .

Those sections need to be kept a secret for court proceedings. The only way any of us are going to see them is through the discovery process . Or at the conclusion of trial .

All the redactions?...lol There isn't much and you are going to suggest one of those small redacted areas deals with dossier? You need to do better than that...

This is the question my post answered.

Those redaction are specific to Russian "discord".

Again, we don't know what Mueller has been "silent" on, as Gambler's title says, as long as we don't know what's been redacted. It's simple logic.

Fight with me all you want, but we just don't know the scope of Mueller's investigation unless we know what's in the whole report. "We" might never know, but certain members of Congress should know, in my opinion, for the issues to be resolved.
