No, the investigators have to prove guilt.

Trump has no say-so over the outcome, because if he did, it would look exactly like obstruction of justice.

So the witch hunt, the inquisition, has to prove that he's guilty of something before he is put to the stake.

Oh goodness the idiocy of this comment. I guess you let the cops search your car every time they pull you over too, right? And if they show up at your house, you let them wander around and poke around, right? I understand chr0naut having zero understanding of a free country because he doesn't live in one. But American's should understand why the above is a huge problem. Your freedom hangs by a thread. If they can investigate a president maliciously, imagine what they can do to you.

Honestly, if they're going to play this game, trump may as well go all in and instruct the justice department to investigate and prosecute EVERY viable tip on any democrat congress critter. And leave no stone unturned, try to find any other crimes they may have committed in their lives while you're doing the investigation. If we're going to play the political targeting game, then both sides ought to show up to the fight with loaded guns.

ETA: the mueller investigation had those fruits (his innocence) and look how well the dems are taking that. So no, I don't expect they'll ever agree that he's innocent, no matter how much fruitless investigating they do, because this is a good old fashioned witch hunt. Innocence is irrelevant.

Is this kind of stupidity from demonrats and their pawns that really irks me. Do you think these endless investigations are free? Are you that naive, and that childish that you can't comprehend what is going on?...

Just because you don't like the POTUS, because he doesn't kowtow to your views is no evidence to go after him...

The whole "Russia/Trump collusion" has been shown to be a sham time and again. And MORONS in the left continue wanting these endless investigations WHICH COST MILLIONS OF DOLLARS...

All of this meanwhile POTUS Trump has helped the U.S. economy, brought jobs back which that MORON Obama claimed "they were not coming back," and then when Trump helped bring them back Obama claimed "it was thanks to Obama..."

There is less unemployment than from the 1970s. There are more minorities working than have been for decades.

The country is in much better shape than under the dictator wannabe Obama, yet the pawns in the left continue making false claims, and demanding more endless investigations...

He is being investigated for of obstruction of justice. I don't think witchcraft has been a 'thing' since way back in Salem in the 1690's, and the Inquisition never came to the New World (even though the first guys were Spanish), but I'm no expert on US law.

But, yes, the rule of jurisprudence is generally innocent until proven guilty.

Well, there are several posts in this thread that outline these, and also many current news articles, but for completeness: investigations by the former CIA director, the former FBI director, the former Director of National Security and the Special Prosecutor, for starters.

Just speculation.

Welp, fingers crossed! Maybe they'll shoot him or something. Keep that hope alive.

No, the answer will be just like has already been said before. Quite mundane and boring, actually.

You wouldn't happen to be a goldfish, would you?

Naw, if he's innocent, Dems prove it for him. They're chasing their tails, or saving the republic.

So, to avoid getting pulled over, I drive 5 mph under the limit. Never been pulled over since I started that.

For a president to avoid being investigated, he or she avoids mixing personal profit with the job. Trump might be innocent, but his shady comnents, business dealings, and Twitter freak outs are the equivalent of driving 120 in a 55 mph zone. Maybe there's no coke in the car, but the cops will wonder.

If they search the car, no coke, fine-- he's just reckless. They wasted their time. He's off with a ticket, and they wasted a few hours.

You're assuming that the "cops" investigating President Trump are honest investigators?
