Well I'd like to keep an open mind, sometimes almost to the brink of my brain falling out. I want to give people the benefit of the doubt but I cant discount my own personal experience in dealing with people. OP from the start had me dismissive, and then a bit engaged but now I'm totally out. I've seen this binary stuff before, it doesnt make it more believable, not to me anyways. Fool me once..

I worked night shift at the time and had a lot of free time. I was just screwing around a little bit and someone actually made a thread asking me to answer questions. It was not exactly what I had intended to do but went with it.

I like Titor myself, good story, and great justification, that being that you can not travel to exactly the same timeline, hence the discrepancies in his historical reckoning.

Theoretically, time travel is indeed possible, but the energies required to achieve such are on par with infinity, or at least well beyond humanities ability to produce.......as of yet that is.

Other problems arise also all the same, material science would need to somewhat progress by a right good few orders of magnitude.

This may be an attempt by someone to get help in an escape attempt. Could there be consequences for those aiding in the future? Time will tell.

The greatest proof time travel is not possible (within the current universe, so creating a new universe may be possible) is the fact we are still here.

Personally i think it's perfectly balanced always has always will... Think about the love you have for the people you have in your life, mother, father, child or even your dog, now think there's billions of us that love those that are close to them, that's a lot of love, for me its the intensity of both that's increasing. Balanced but both getting stronger or maybe there's more love and less hate but it's the intensity that is balanced between then, hmmm

That could simply be proof that nothing of interest has happened as of yet to warrant any time travelers bothering to turn up and announce there presence.

Think there have been a few means of time travel proposed that still remain within the realms of the general theory of relativity, most of which involve the use of orbiting around or very close the event horizon of a black hole if memory serves.

That would seem to present enough problem all on its own all the same never mind the fact that we would require said blackhole.

It's not that everything is sterile or anything, just different viruses and bacteria than now. It's as if you traveled to Africa, you'd have trouble with it. And yeah, my parents were against Akasha, something aboutt a soul. I got it when I turned them in for not getting it for me and the empire gave me it free as a reward, I was nine years old. However it does not have the data on your illnesses.
