Why not. I married a non white, non American citizen immigrant and I get told I'm an isolationist and only want white people in America.

America is becoming too weird to live in, really.
True story, we lived in Fontana, Calif. They had a bar there with live music and my wife an went in. I didn't like the looks of the crowd (wife has straight black hair) and they walked by us giving us a "go fk off dude" type of look. And, yes, I 'm a Vietnam Vet and don't mind kicking some ... but . we ordered 2 drinks and looked at them and quietly left. This was in 1979 in Fontana, Calif. Got to watch your back when white and non white is mixed and holding hands. That's reality in America.

It was made in 73 it's literally only 10 years after Montogomery.

That's why he is at the table, and on the left no less...

No, because most of the country still didn't like that idea.

You don't have to doubt me, you just need to know you're wrong and i'm right.

"Charlie" Brown was a reference to the indigenous Vietnamese that were fighting the imperialistic US forces in their own country.

Linus's whole name was "Linus Yuri Gregonavich" and his blanket was representative to the comforts of communism and everyone wanted to take that away.

I don't really understand what your getting all triggered about and trying to argue... Are you trying to say society wasn't incredibly racist in 1973, compared to today's standards?

Obviously, the black character was put in the cartoon, for the very purpose of being progressive, which was considered very controversial at the time.

That in itself should tell you that it's not beyond the possibility that the creator might of had a perception of how white and black kids should interact, which would be considered racist today.

Doesn't mean the scene was a deliberate conscious racist act... Just different times, with different ideas of what was considered as appropriate.

"Pig Pen" is based on homeless undocumented immigrant children kept in cages by ICE and Trump.

"Pig Pen" was an anti-Islamic reference to glorify dirty American tastes in bacon and to insult Islam.

The little "red-haired" girl Charlie Brown liked was actually a reference to the true desire of US populations wanting "red"-style communism.

Different time, different ideas...you said it best. So now if it was a different time from now, and those people are dead or cant hurt you, then stop your damn whining over everything.

You know what was so better about back then ? We didn't have a society full of weaklings who have nothing better to do than cry every time something isnt their way.
