Why does an accuser have to read their own written account?

Was Ford sworn in?

Yes.

She showed up and she is testifying under oath right now.

Yep she did, no doubt forced by Democrat lawyers....

ooo hacked emails... RUSSIA!

It's her excuse for any bad emails they may have found....

Good point.
If they subpoenaed her emails and found her talking to someone about the case, and how it is not true, she could be trying to cover herself.
She probably does not realize the headers show LE exactly who sent the email.

Bet it was Russian hackers too!

In my opinion, she just messed up by admitting that they host Google interns at their home!

Well at least she isn't afraid of hosting parties for Google

She is claustrophobic.
Currently hosts Google interns in her home with two front doors.

Yeah, some of the replies in this thread, just baffling!

My sister was repeatedly raped and beaten, she went to court, they got away with it. and this thread kind of gives me an idea why people do get away with this stuff.

I'm out of this

Those types of replies come from the 'penis' drinking game.

Three areas that were wrong in her own letter?

First she says there may have been more than 4 others.

Second says judge may have pushed as well, no big deal.

But still strange

Well she actually said she was pushed from behind and cannot say at all who pushed her... she actually said she "couldn't put that on him". She therefore made a mistake in her characterisation of the event in the letter...

...Feinstein only seems interested in the emotional.

I believe Feinstein and Ford have already failed.

...the fact the dems sat on it during questioning and didn't raise it...

Technically, it was Feinstein alone who sat on it. The very first report (by The Intercept, Sept 12 @ 9:24pm -- but I have no idea what time zone) was all about Feinstein's fellow Dems demanding to see the letter -- NOT the accusations themselves.

Diane Feinstein Withholding Brett Kavanaugh Document From Fellow Judiciary Committee Democrats

DEMOCRATS ON THE Senate Judiciary Committee have privately requested to view a Brett Kavanaugh-related document in possession of the panel’s top Democrat, Dianne Feinstein, but the senior California senator has so far refused, according to multiple sources familiar with the situation.

The specific content of the document, which is a letter from a California constituent, is unclear, but Feinstein’s refusal to share the letter has created tension on the committee, particularly after Feinstein largely took a back seat to her more junior colleagues last week.

Buzzfeed reported that Feinstein turned the letter over to the FBI the same night, who added it to Kavanaugh's file. I assume it was accessible to other Senators at that point. So maybe the 13th or14th? And I believe it was the 16th when CNN made the contents public.

Anyway, Feinstein was pretty much forced to release the letter. And even then, only to the FBI. NOT to the committee, and NOT to the media, and NOT to the public.

I find that far more curious than the media narrative that it's all a Democrat conspiracy to stall, etc. I know Feinstein says she was trying to respect CFB's confidentiality as requested. But I think there's more to it -- lots more! And I could be very wrong too.

She is speaking of a lifetime of anxiety and phobia and a struggle academically. She's blaming her alleged event with K for all her mental and emotional problems throughout her life.

3 more inaccuracies.

"might have been a few others."
Can't say if Kavanaugh pushed her into the bedroom - wow...

...next one coming up

Wrong, she said she can't be sure if it was 'only' Kavanaugh that pushed her into the room or if Judge did so too.

but her opening statement she clearly said ''someone pushed me in the back - i didn't see who ''

being able to claim one way or the other completely contradicts that

Ok. This will not go well at all because of this 5 min rule!

What the hell was that???

Because of this, real info will not be explored. The 5 min rule just encourages the zinger moments. WTF was the right thinking?

Oh come on, someone as traumatized as she is today because of a high school event would have no problem holding parties for young Google interns.
