UFO In Scotland Shot Down or in distress?

The bizarre footage, which was shot on September 1, shows something floating around in the sky with a strange material seemingly leaking from it. This prompted conspiracy theorists to believe that it was a UFO which had been shot down. The video was shot by an unnamed woman in Scotland who sent it through to popular conspiracy theorist channel UFO Today.

The description on the video reads: “The object was dropping a lot of glowing material while flying. She did know what this object was, but she was sure this was not something man made. “It did not produce any sound at all. When I analysed the footage I noticed the object ejected a lot of material.” Many of UFO Today’s followers were convinced the footage was of genuine UFO activity. YouTuber David Leach wrote: “Excellent viewing. Leaking a lot of material. Near the end it looks like a smaller UFO breaks off and goes upward.”

People on social media and some locals are claiming this is a kite with a lot of sparklers attached.
I don't buy that,
How long does your average sparklers last?
It does appear that other objects entered the air space around this "Light"
With that many sparklers attached, how long before it burned up?
Pretty quick I'd imagine.
In my uneducated guess the mountain range below would place this awfully high in the air.
And WTH is the white object that flies away from this "Kite" near the end of the video?

have to say a pretty bizzare video.......

That being said it could just as easily been a military or civilian aircraft in distress, OR even a drone/RC plane with fireworks tied to it.........

The sparkle-trail/tail is extremely unusual.

Ok well that was odd the movement well bizarre!
if that was a kite with sparklers attached judging by the amount of flame/fire the kite would have gone up in seconds.
Illogically the break away white thing is obviously a life pod

Airplane with flares attached to it. Nothing more, nothing less.

Looks like a pyrotechnic kite to me.
Like these.

Makes one wonder it these UFOs are really biological in nature, like some sort of aerial Jellyfish, as crazy as that sounds, perhaps it was "bleeding" so to speak, accompanied with 'bouts of disorientation.

Maybe something new in the armed missiles? Something went wrong and the usual status quo has been upended.

Except for the bit flying off at the end but those kites move identically

Looks like a kite with a firework, and I have looked carefully at the vid. Happy to be proven wrong by an official admission from the RAF, or some evidence on the ground that shows that a UFO was downed.

That looked like an orb that got shot at and somehow dispersed the energy before safely flying away.

The silver sphere I saw looked like it was liquid metal.

That's some amazing footage. A lot of good possible explanations on here as well. It certainly looks to be in distress whatever it is.
This could be something simple as a drone with sparklers, or an actual UFO in trouble.

Hopefully we get to see videos from other angles on this. Surely someone else would have spotted and filmed it too.
