This court has no authority in this matter, it's just political grandstanding by a biased judge.

Have a brain.
Honestly this judge should be impeached, the federal government has no obligation to provide any kind of explanations for it's actions to this power tripping lower court judge.

Good to see you round here...
I do wonder why anyone would bother to impeach a judge that has no authority in tha first place.
Perhaps one of your statements is incorrect and the other is an opinion.
John Deacon Bates (born October 11, 1946), is a Senior United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. He was appointed by President George W. Bush in December 2001, and has adjudicated several cases directly affecting the office of the President. Bates served as Director of the Administrative Office of the United States Courts, from July 1, 2013[1] to January 5, 2015,[2] after which he returned to full-time service[2] as a District Judge. Bates took senior status on October 12, 2014.
From September 1995 until leaving in March 1997, Bates worked as Deputy Independent Counsel for Kenneth Starr and the Independent Counsel's office during the investigation into President Bill Clinton.

No one said the judge had NO authority.
He's abusing and overstepping what authority he does have.
Perfect grounds for impeachment.

Soooooo this judge ruled that these young people will for ever remain in limbo ... great decision; liberal judges cutting off their nose to spite their face.

Read his entire history of rulings and you will find that his opinions shift with what he considers to be the political winds.
The position for which he was appointed by Bush was abolished years ago.
His positions have certainly changed as he ages, in a ruling about the withdrawal from the ABM treaty
he stated ,the case presents a "political question" not suitable for resolution by the courts."
He certainly likes to play politics now
perhaps dementia is starting to affect this 72 year old.

No,
You're assuming that.
DACA was an executive order. And the President has full authority on immigration.
So just like the terrorist countries travel ban this is another case of district judges overstepping their authority. It will be struck down as well.

What is the logic in having the court strike it down when trump has the power?
Could it be as i stated that trump has a heart but uses the issue to garner your support?
