Erdogan iniated the coup himself and unfortunately many turks were fooled by it. It paved the way for him to jail any opposition without having to face any pesky questions of the turkish population. However the iranians are truly fed up with the Mullah regime but they still need the help of the iranian military to end the tyranny once and for all.

I'm not sure that you just jump into a plane first try and pull off that stuff.

But the other side of it is, if someone is bound and determined to make a point and spends a year learning as much as he can about something, he might be able to pull it off. At least enough to get it into the air.

Once you're airborn, if you have no intention of landing safely, you just drive it like you stole it. So he did.

A commercial airliner can do things you wouldn't think they can do, but I think you need to know what you're doing.

I tried to be careful with what I said, the plane he was in was not designed for aerobatic stunts.
I don’t believe the manufacturer would recommend doing what he did.

And in doing so, he also jailed half of the best Turkish military minds (officers) in the country. Not smart.

I think he is ensconced for life at this point, isn't he? Didn't the ruling body over there change the constitution and give him absolute power?
