FBI Agent Peter Strzok escorted out of FBI headquarters today

Excerpts from his lawyer's statement:

Just as he has been for the last 20 years, Pete Strzok remains a proud FBI agent who wants to continue working to keep the American people safe.

What if the American people don't want him working for us in any way, shape or form? To the curb Pete!

Pete has steadfastly played by the rules and respected the process, and yet he continues to be the target of unfounded personal attacks, political games and inappropriate information leaks.

Waaaaaa! Join the club! Sucks, don't it??

All of this seriously calls into question the impartiality of the disciplinary process, which now appears tainted by political influence.

Pot meet Kettle. This is beyond ironic. Welcome to the club. Sucks, don't it??

Pete will keep this act up (of innocence) until he no longer can. Until he is just about to reap what he has sown. Then his walls will fall and even those on the left will be forced to acknowledge what a weasel he always has been.

Huge. Anyone put away by a 302 in evidence will be calling for an appeal. As I said months ago, bad guys will go free because these asshats played games. That's why everyone should be upset by this, regardless of political leaning.

This is what is destroying the IC and their ability to do their job. Not the investigation into it, but the criminal acts themselves.

I would imagine this is the exact reason FBI Director Wray is downplaying the impact some of these corrupt agents had.

I disagree, he is no Lee Majors.

In all seriousness lets hope he isn't a fall guy like Seth Rich, but a fall guy like (insert alive whistle blower's name here). Though at this point I don't think is matter's too much what he says, if he can't back it up with untainted evidence, either side will call him out for lying some more.

Hillary will "suicide" him before he'd ever leaks.

He knows this.

So he'll take his punishment, slip out of sight, then get a 5 million dollar "gift" from the Clinton Foundation and a cut from Obama's Netflix empire before retiring to St. Barts.

Think about it folks. Didn't Comey change the language in the final report? if so then Strzok's team must have used stronger and what was later termed as prosecutable language? If so then it does appear that he did not let his hate for Trump influenece the investigation. As far as stopping Trump, he obviously did not have ammo or power to get that done, nor has any evidence surfaced that he took any steps to do so. Two different investigations have cleared him of this.

The most ironic part of all of this is that this all started with Hillary using private cellphone and email. Yet Trump continues to do the same. FYI I did not vote for or support Hillary. I just think Strzok is getting thrown under the bus for mostly political reasons rather than anything he did wrong on the job. I am sure if Hillary had been elected many FBI agents would not have been happy with that either and some would would ahve shared that with others. Besides, in the work they do, which ultimately is based on factual evidence, there should be more than one side represented.

The other wasn't testifying against Clinton as far as I'm able to determine.
