They'll tell you that everyone's ID is random, including Q's ID number. It will remain the same only for one thread, then automatically change to protect everyone's anonymity. Check out the qanon.pub page and you'll see Q's ID is ever changing. The tripcode is the name or number in the top left corner, and that can be chosen by the user.

The vast majority of users choose to display "anonymous" just like the mysterious post you're referring to.
