What a great idea, now they just need to have school uniforms with great big targets on the front and back, using the same logic Mr wrong does, he leaves his front door open when he goes out so the burglars won't come.

No joke, I like this idea the most.

Drill a hole in the tip of good ol' Louisville slugger and fill it with lead.
Drive an array of nails into it and grind the driving-heads off.
It would make for a very effective short-range weapon.
More or less useless against a firearm.
Especially if you have to dig for a key before you can start smashing.

Bats are small and insignificant, arm them with honey badgers, they're the business.
