I can't believe people hadn't already figured out that Professional sports is a big scam. Why couldn't we boycott them for stealing our tax money and overcharging for everything and paying millions to people who don't deserve it while working people are suffering?

Why does it take a race war for people to wake up?

If big sports is a 'scam' as you say, then what isn't a big scam? Nice car, vacations, second property? Nice to have a choice in which scam to pick. Yes?

Beats the crap out of contemplating one's naval.

More overwhelming support for those against the kneelers - and strong support for Trump's position

Fox will apparently not show the National Anthem.

This is according to Breitbart: www.breitbart.com...

I guess we will find out in a little over an hour...

If they are doing this it is to avoid the spectacle of the players standing and conceding the argument to the President, admitting their actions were wrong.

Patriots will all stand, one hand on their heart, other hand on the other players shoulder next to them

Yeah, I've been hearing that the teams have pretty much accepted Trump was right and will honour the anthem.

The highway in town I know of with the highest percentage of speed traps runs through some of the worst areas with the highest crime rates. Are they profiling or do they figure they'll also maybe catch a some with warrants while they're at it? Or is it that they figure if they have to have a bunch of cops in an area manning a speed trap, they better have them where they might need them for calls?

The fans supported Trump and the NFL took a HUGE revenue hit. The players are supporting their wallets mostly.

Trump is taking this personally. That's the only reason he's involved himself.

So what was your position every time Obama weighed in on something like the cause of Beer Summit where the police "acted stupidly" and other events like it?

Was he or was he not taking it personally too?

Yeah. Because Obama was an attention seeking bigot trying to start a race war.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ROFL LMFAO!!!!!! Oh dear god that's rich!!! No really!! Comedy gold!!! Obama!!! Race war!!! HA HA HA HA ha ha ha HA HA !!!!

I just watched the start of the SEAHAWKS vs COLTS game on T.V.. NBC did something it rarely does outside of football playoffs. The network showed THE NATIONAL ANTHEM. I'm sure the network didn't show the Anthem out of love of country. In fact, it didn't show the U.S. flag much at all. Instead, the cameras were focused on the players, coaches and the audience.

It looked like only 4 or 5 Seahawk players were sitting. Everyone else on both teams were honoring America properly.

Which has been the case since last year.
Until Trump opened his face.

If that's the case, the "Trump effect" only lasted one weekend, LOL. Those butt-hurt millionaires grew up quickly!

I don't think so. It's more likely that they "shaped up" and grew-up.

And the players are still taking a knee. Ignoring the presidential noise.

Fewer and fewer are choosing to put personal gripes over honoring Americans who have been injured and died in the line duty. But, there will always be some nutjobs in every sport, industry, forum, etc..

Really? I don't see the unified team support that was there last week either. Many more standing/holding their hands over their hearts. Even the Steelers and coach were out there standing for the anthem rather than sitting in the clubhouse.

Yeah. True. I noticed how those who stood were beating up on those who kneeled.
