There have been teachers/professors who have, and they get stabbed by the admin and loose their job.


There is no leadership. The $$ is crazy, and if there is a riot-serious demonstration, that sweet sweet money that those "kids" pay for the college experience may stop or slow. Can't have that.

In these situations I really feel like it would benefit everyone if the apology was just "I'm sorry if you found something offensive, it was in no way intended to be". That's more than you need to say. I get that it's a bit of a copout but it's going to be impossible to know every new thing people are getting upset over, and you really shouldn't apologize if it's something this innocuous.

If I were in his shoes, I would have told any offended parties to go F themselves. Why? Because none of the offended parties were ever near cotton or hard labor ever in their life. Bet on it.

If it wasn't for cotton many African Americans would still be in Africa not being able to afford to eat, let alone being on state funded Affirmative Action Higher Education Programs.

I had to look it up. It's a small private Christian college, probably more conservative than most colleges - oops.

It is a liberal arts institution which has a smallish student base and is ranked #147 nationally. It is actually less conservative than you have opined

True, and this is why I find such a problem with the pathetic leadership. The students know they have the schools by the short hairs and are basically blackmailing them. If I am reading this stupid situation correctly, it is "Either take what teenagers are saying seriously or the students will tear down the schools (worse case)."
