I live in LA. I'll head to my local grocery store later and see if it's true.

For the non americans EBT is food stamps - i share because i assumed was electronic banking transfer or something like that.

Not. EBT customers will still be shopping, but when they try to pay, their cards will be rejected and the check out lines will stall.

but well, I picked up my food yesterday, it's so much easier with walmart grocery, place your order online, arrange for a time to pickup, they bring it out to your car, and will even load it into your trunk for you, although we usually help with that part.

ain't had a problem yet with it, and I think it saves me money because I ain't walking through the store and picking up all those neat treats that I see on the shelves that look so yummy but then I don't really eat any afterwards..

the last glitch allowed recipients to buy anything and not just food. Knowing right from wrong was absent among recipients as walmart and several other grocers took massive losses for selling unqualified products for payment from ebt.
