I mean, we anarchists and Anti-fascists, have existed for decades, we are not a new 'phenomenon', when we did things during Obama's administration the Media stayed away because they didn't have a narrative to play, now with Trump, the media is exploiting this 'Trump-Vs-Anti-Trump" narrative.

Serious question:
What did Antifa do during Obama's administration...since, as you say: "the Media stayed away"?

Nothing immediately springs to mind.

Off the top of my head

We were active in the Occupy movements before Liberals came and co-opted/hijacked it all, there are plenty of videos you can find.

The 2016 Sacramento riot

The Klan Rally in Anaheim California

Look at all the Mayday events

We have had presence at every Klan Rally, every National Socialist Movement rally, just we didn't have the Media covering us, which was fine, better for us actually

Thanks.
So does the Antifa movement feel 'used' by the Media and Liberals?

I ask because, on the face of it, the Media/Antifa relationship would appear to be more symbiotic in nature.
By giving your movement so much publicity, isn't the Media helping to expand your ranks?

Why does Antifa wear masks?

They don't want to be "doxxed"?

Nah, it just makes them feel more gangsta.

It's all about attention, pride and self-image anyway. The hats are getting bigger though.

Antifa's only claim to fame was hating Milo at UC Berkeley.

Now they've gone nationwide.

I wonder how much they are making off franchising fees.

I can just imagine the resident DJ:

"All the people on the Left!

What direction of music are we going to play for this here march?
Hip Hop or Punk?

People, people ... chill, I'm sure we can come to some agreement!
Whatever, you mofos duke it out - I'm outa here ...".

Antifa is now Racist and BLM is now pro-Fascist.

I would bet none of them actually have a job... otherwise they would be working...lol

I wouldn't be surprised if some of them are paid agents, provocateurs or at least "under cover".
I mean duh - there's a whole "black block" (as Antifa refers to their outfits) with masks - could be anybody.
What, black people should trust everyone in masks?
Like there never were psy-ops in history?
Being unrecognizable (although they might as well skip that performance - the Internet finds whom it wants to find) may give "street cred" in one group, but to another group it could mean, we don't know who you are, or whether to trust you.
You could be anyone ... an enemy, an assassin.

Would be quite funny if it's Police Academy A versus Police Academy B, and neither knows the other is under cover.

All the normal youngsters are standing there with smart-phones, filming everything.
Typical.

Maybe it's just Texas?

Well, the word Texas does mean "Friend" or "Ally".

I would like to think that means we are very friendly around here.

... And that we don't put up with foolishness from those who are unwilling to be friendly or civil.

Yes, and especially now, the Liberals are already starting to try and co-opt everything, Indivisible showed up to all the Vigils telling people the only way to save everyone was to vote Democrat, Liberals now seeing it as an opportunity to hold a really bad sign and chant some ridiculous slogans and think they are 'activist' who can go home with their self-congratulatory symbolic 'showing' and rid themselves of the guilt of being part and supporting the systems that they helped create.

The more the media report us makes it easier for us to get doxxed etc

If these two groups, alongside other hateful groups, would concentrate on each other, perhaps the rest of us could live in peace and try to make the country a better place for all good people.

"Doxing" - now there's the new word for 2017.

In previous decades we had activists - people who held speeches, people who openly sided with social pariahs, like gays or people with AIDS.

Today we have "doxers" - people who hit others over the head with a lock and then run away in their ninja costumes.
Like their kindergarten Halloween party never ended.
A blitzkrieg of lameness.

Well, I've been "dixing" - a sideways glance in the showers just to check I'm on par with my bros, and then you quickly look away.

It's groovy - "dix" ahead.

I first thought it's an animal, like a huge rodent or something.

Halfoldman, take the "dox" outside.

Quit "doxing" around with that critter and have your supper!
Your ma's been cooking all day.

Ps. It has huge fluffy ears, the "dox" must have skipped a fence.
Perhaps it was a PARA-dox.
Anyway, no more "doxing" tonight,
This creature wears you out.
One-two ... take it on the chin, and there it doxes!

a reply to: infolurkerThe guy probably was an undercover cop. He didn't come across as a thug and didn't seem ready to lash out violently like most BLM and ANTIFA seem to do. But you have two groups that are looking for scapegoats to blame for society's problems( hey, they sound like Nazis who did the same thing) and that's white privileged people. The antifa kids are mostly white and privileged and screwed up and stand out to BLM as idiots. ANTIFA will expect BLM to go along with them and not be able to grasp that they may be looked on as spoiled rich kids. So they'll conflict. George Soros needs to coordinate these groups better and not have them in the same rallies. Hmmm. If Soros pays BLM and pulls their stings, does that make him the Black Lives Master?

So was Trump correct when he was referring to the ANTIFA group being the bad guys on the Alt-left side then ?

Could you say when you see a group of ANTIFA people marching you don't join them either, because they are the most radicalized part of the ALT-left ?

This sword cut both ways, but the MSM would have none of it, even the GOP itself exposed itself on this one.

And if people do well being paid with these guys, they might enjoy it so much they do it for free next time with ANTIFA, what a recruitment tool.

Oops! I at least understand the BLM movement, though some of it I disagree with. The ANTIFA? Yeah they make no sense and what they stand for plus their actions are contradictory. Surprised the BLM dude didn't lay out that ANTIFA puke.

Well one group had a federal right to free speech and assembly.

And then they unleashed the "doxes".
