Is morale low at the Barracks? Well just get some female soldiers to start mud-wrestling in panties and that will boost morale by 10 pts. Hell, I would not be surprised if soldiers re-up to stay at Camp Bucca.....I would!

This stuff never happened at any of the Army bases I was stationed at.... I guess this must be the "new Army" that Ive been reading about.

Heres the linky:

If the female soldiers have no problem with it, how could I? Sounds like a pleasant way to stay amused.

I would have to say that ANY recreational activity is healthy when you are expected to go out and kill people all day long. The only reason this is even in the news is probably because of some extreme feminest that thinks it degrades women or something.

According to the New York Daily News, they received 30 pictures of the action. Can anyone post a link?

My question is, what's the point of this?? Are the men supposed to get off on it, 'cause I wouldn't be. That doesn't look like a whole lotta eye candy in the picture there. Is it fun for the women?? Do they get off on it (you know what I mean)? Are there no other activities that female soldiers can participate in that don't involve stripping down to their bra and panties and grappling with each other in a pool of mud? I'd rather be off in a tent somewhere with the community issue of 'Hustler'. Just a thought.

Peace

I don't really see the problem with this, as long as the participants were voluntary. What's the big deal? Do they never get to relax and party? They did things like this in Viet Nam, didn't they? People just can't be serious 24/7, especially in those conditions. I say we impeach them all! Which one of them had a cigar?

Dr Love, anytime you're in either prison or the military, for a long time, any woman starts looking pretty good.
I'm sure alot of soldiers are cheating on their women, waiting back home.

I have to agree. Maybe to blow off steam.

I wonder what the husbans of the girls or families of the girls think.

Your point is well taken. It's not a big deal as far as I'm concerned. I just find it an interesting way to "relax" and "party". When I think about relaxing and partying, I think about a bottle of Wild Turkey and a phatty. Everyone's different I guess. I think that the hooker prospects were probably better in Vietnam, you know "me love you long time". I would think that cases of sexual assault in the military rise because of activities like this, but maybe not.

Peace

Well, you know. Wild Turkey and fatties were probably part of the events leading up to the mudwrestling. People get courageous when they drink, and women get fiesty and giddy. I'm sure that had something to do with it. I can't say I've ever seen a sober woman (who wasn't a stripper) get naked and dance on a table at a party.

They're probably stationed somewhere else in Iraq, watching the same thing.

NOw, seriously, did they really have women in bras and panties wresting in mud during viet nam?
or even the first golf war?
I thought military personel were to follow a strict code of conduct, which at least one of these people were punished for breaking by the way. And, well, considering the pictures of the prison abuse, I find myself wondering, just what has happened in our army, that would cause such outbursts of what would be generally considered immorality?

Haven't you ever watched M*A*S*H? (Yeah, I know...that was supposed to be the Korean war) Things like that definitely happened. They did alot of crazy stuff. I don't know about mudwrestling, since I doubt it was even a sport yet, back then, but they did plenty of other crazy things. They were human, ya know?

Nah...in Nam you could probably get a fairly cute hooker for about $5... I'm not sure the Iraqi hookers would be...err....uhmm....how do I say this? Well, you know....just can't be sexy in a burqa?...yeah, that's it!...
"woof"

Hey, if the gals want to strip down to their skivvies to boost morale, who would I be to complain?
Personally, I've heard some pretty wild co-ed base stories, hehe....

Boy, do you have alot to learn.

It looks like they are having simple fun. I dont see the problem.

When i was stationed in Germany, we held a 3 week field exercise in the Bavarian countryside, in a farmer's field. The rain, snow, and sudden thaw turned the site into a quagmire of mud. To break the tedium, when we werent working, we often played bud football, or mudwrestled one another, males, females, ect. Of course, we had ALOT more clothing on, as it was cold, and it was a way to relieve tension. We even got to watch two female officers slam each other in the mud, again they were fully clothed, and it was an arguement between the two, and it was enjoyable to watch.

So I see no problem with this. This is actually vert tame and mild compared to alot of other "recreational" activites I witnessed people do, some entirely too strange and disturbing to be posted here, so Ill refrain.

Dr Love, a few things you should know. While samoking weed, drinking, and looking at porn might be fun for you, these are activities these soldiers cannot partake. Marijuana is illegal for soldiers, and we get random drug tests monthly, so most smart people avoid it while in the military. And since they are in a hostile area, and probably dont get much time off, drinking is unlikely. They dont have cable TV on demand there, if they even have TVs. No video games. Probably no porn.

So, youre with a bunch of people, in a hostile country with the threat of bombs and terror attacks, out in the middle of the desert, no TV, no video games, no booze, no weed, no porn, nothing. What are YOU gonna do for fun?

Youll find that soldiers, since often we are deprived of niceities, often become VERY ingenius and creative in their search to battle boredom and keep morale up. In Saudi, we used to hunt scorpions and make them fight each other for fun. Amongst other things.

And since males and females often dress in close quarters in front of each other, seeing us in our bra and panties might not be as exciting as you think.

I say, congrats to these troops for finding a harmless, amusing way to relieve their stress, boost morale, and have fun that doesnt involve torturing Iraqis or local wildlife.

How can anyone argue with that?

Investigators quoted a witness who said that sergeants involved also were lending their rooms to male and female soldiers for sex parties.

But, said Eve Bucca, "We are still very proud of the camp and of the men and women who serve there."

Military brass acknowledged that the wild scene represented a serious breakdown of military discipline.

great!
as long as they are proud of the men and women.
who cares about "a serious breakdown in military discipline"!
