Atlanta (CNN)Democrats tried an inoffensive moderate message in Georgia. They ran a banjo-strumming populist in Montana. They called in the cavalry in South Carolina and tried to catch their foe sleeping through a long-shot in Kansas.
None of it worked.
In the special elections for House seats vacated by Republicans who wound up in President Donald Trump's Cabinet, Democrats went 0-for-4.

Now, party officials, strategists and candidates are pondering what went wrong -- and how they can turn it around in time for the 2018 midterm elections.
Jon Ossoff's loss Tuesday night in a hyper-competitive Georgia race -- the most expensive in history -- "better be a wake up call for Democrats," tweeted Massachusetts Rep. Seth Moulton, an emerging Demo

Democrats just went 0-4. When will they win?

Here's my favorite line from the article:

"The losses aren't all doom and gloom for Democrats. ..........................We have to remember that these elections are being held in districts hand-picked by Trump -- districts where he created vacancies because he thought they were 'can't lose' seats," said Ron Klain............."

I guess Trump was right!

Wait till midterms and the presidential election. Thanks to the big orange idiot, Republicans are going to lose bad unless they find a way to control him.

Constant stupid remarks, crying and whining on Twitter and playing the victim and screwing the people over for his millionaire/billionaire buddies by loosening laws that would have helped people and the environment will be his downfall.

I once heard him say he has done so much already, just what has he done? Seriously, anything good.

Donald Trump fails to address terror attack on London mosque and murdered Muslim woman

He only tweets when he can use someone's death as propaganda for this anti Muslim agenda. A dead Muslim does not help him.

When will they win?

The answer is simple - when they legitimately and genuinely deserve to win because they have a better message and really do want to be inclusive.

So far the Democrats = anti-white, pro anarchy retardness.

Never they just spent over a year telling %60 of the population to shutup and get to the back of the bus.

Great strategy.

Not "population" but "basket of deplorables". At least get the insult correct. And, for the record, the DNC was beat by that basket of deplorables. I guess that makes them unworthy to rule over those same deplorables.

Imagine that. You cannot win when you insult the voters.

Who would have thought????

This reminds me of a piece I've had in mind for a while....

How on the one hand liberal politice (not even counting SJW's) are so far gone now a days (and then you factor in their new SJW platform and its all just goes into the deep end).

And on the other this reality where there's just Fox news to push the "conservative" viewpoint (er lip service)...

...against what like 5 other hardcore liberal TV news outlets.

And the end result, after like 5 times the amount of propaganda not to mention the youth vote) is just barely slightly over 50% the national popular vote (even counting potential illegal voters, election rigging, etc).

With 5 times the propaganda you'd think the conservative viewpoint would be in the dust. (that's what they all call "high information" = 5 times the social engineering / propaganda)

For me its extra interesting as I'm not even particularly fond of conservatism.

That is not unless it a comparison of current "conservatism" versus current "liberalism".

The DNC has been playing (and winning) the propaganda game for so long, I guess they had just decided they were an automatic winner no matter what. I noticed this some months back, when the uproar over the Russia-Trump narrative began. The narrative was that Russia had hacked government computers to release information damaging to the DNC, but Russia never hacked a government computer; they hacked the DNC computers. Since when is the DNC considered a part of government? By its very nature, one must comply with a certain set of ideological beliefs to join the DNC, so if it is part of government it is absolutely in violation of the US Constitution.

But the DNC seems to think it is itself the Federal government. Too bad the people don't seem to agree.

The history of this belief is interesting from a philosophical perspective. The DNC has learned to excel in controlled division tactics... they find voting blocks... Latinos, blacks, gays, women... ano appeal to them in a multifaceted approach. The latest block to be targeted is Muslims, and that may have been the initial crack in their armor. Several prominent Muslim countries have a history of not being exactly supportive of women's or gay rights, and since 911 that has been etched into the American psyche.

Trump directly created two more cracks... he caused the black voting block to reconsider it's historic alliance in the face of increasing poverty, and he promised direct action against another newly-created voting block: illegal immigrants. At the same time, he energized the Republican base by talking plainly directly to the people, a tactic he still employs using Twitter. Between that and the slow dissolution of Democrat voting blocks, the DNC is watching everything it had, including the notion that it WAS the Federal government talent pool, crumble away. It's little wonder they are as upset as they are.

Without those voting blocks, the DNC has no message. None. Their programs have led to poverty, unemployment, dependency, want, and subservience... and now these same programs are crashing in on themselves. Obamacare has increased premiums and deductibles, decreased choice, and is making healthcare insurance mandatory yet useless. The national debt is far beyond any hint of reason. The jobs market is shrinking to nothing, save the expensive and wasteful government programs created by the DNC to hold onto power.

Their message to middle America: suck it up and quit whining. You'll do as we say.

Middle America does not like that message. They don't like being called names like "racist," "deploable," "homophobe," "sexist"... they're none of those things. They're just people trying to live their lives. They don't like the viciousness coming from the left when people are shot, run over, stabbed, and then demonized because of a political view. They don't want leaders telling them what to do while doing something else; they expect to tell their leaders what to do, as per the Constitution. They want honesty, integrity, and results, not lies, hypocrisy, and empty promises.

The DNC honestly doesn't seem to be capable of delivering what the people want. So they are trying to deliver more of what they know. CNN, MSNBC, HLN (a division of CNN), NBC, all are complicent in promoting the message of the DNC, while Fox stands alone as the voice of conservatism... and to it's credit, maintains more balance than the aforementioned networks. It is no wonder that Fox is the most popular news network in America. Even while countered by obvious propaganda by some of the brightest minds in journalism, the relative honesty and integrity of Fox is winning and winning bigly.

I am seeing some movement away from the leftist core of the DNC. Notably last night, Seth Meyers, comedian and talk show host who had been so vile in his support of anything anti-Trump for so long, had a skit that pointed out the changing narrative of the DNC. If he can 'get it,' maybe there's hope. Griffin and Colbert, however, have damaged themselves so severely I doubt there will ever be a way for them to recover.

(I want to point that that the only reason I saw Meyers is he is on after Fallon and I'm too lazy to push a button on a remote... I like Fallon because he makes fun of everyone and was respectful to Trump during the election; respect does not mean not making jokes about someone... he made many against Trump... but it does mean not becoming vile and hateful. Trump was in many of his skits making fun of Trump!)

In the end, I believe it will be too little too late for 2018. The DNC is toxic politically right now, and it will take some time for the memory of their atrocities to fade. 2018 will be a gain for the Republicans. There may be some primary shakeup, but Republicans will not only hold both Houses, they will make gains. The Senate, especially, is poised for Republican intensification in 2018. 2020 may be a reasonable goal if the hatred from the DNC stops now; 2022 is certainly achievable. But we have until 2020 for a Republican-controlled government, and until 2024 for a Republican White House. That is done; only a miracle can change it. If the Republicans can follow through on Trump's agendas, we may not see Democrat power return at all until 2024, and that will only be a possibility.

I think there will be an attempt at a "breakaway" democratic/socialist party that will drain a few of the big names, and a great many mostly younger voters away from the establishment Democrats. Whether is is temporary or not, it will screw things up for 2018 enough that the Dems will see no significant gains in either house or senate, and may lose senate seats.

Here is what I found, but for Ossoff I have seen 27 mil totals..

The analysis shows Ossoff laid out $14.2 million on ad time and spent at least another $8 million on other costs. Handel spent $2.5 million on TV, radio and cable spots and had at least $1 million in other expenses.
