I notice you, conveniently, don't specifically say, but imply, what that subset is; however, others do specifically say: hence, my original post about the matter.

Additionally, the guy who attempted to hack up the college coffee shop also believed the left and liberals were the cause of his ills, and many (here and elsewhere) were quick to also place the blame there. Again, hence my original post.

My only aim was to outline what the argument is. I left out "the left" because, as you pointed out, the very same could be said about the right. Groupthink and tribalism and echo-chambers can lead to the beliefs some use to justify their actions.

Been speculating along those lines,

Turn tables, make it 2012, make perp right-wing, make miltia affiliations.

Under those circumstances the government, media and grass-root far left would not quit until all groups under heading "right-wing" were disbanded, funds seized, members put on show trials and generally dragged through mud while at the same time passing laws abridging second amendment.

Realizing that speculative scenario comes close to expressed aims of many on that side I wonder that at a minimum some of the far left organizations should be infiltrated and cases developed for any expousing violence as a means to achieve political goals.

Antifa comes directly to mind.

Clinton and Reno did it back in the 90's cept' no need nor desire to shoot teenagers in back, kill mothers holding babies nor burn several hundred to death as they did at Ruby Ridge and Waco.

Conservatives don't roll that way.

Again...I don't believe in killing. I am not a murderer, a religious nut-case nor anyone who would hurt another. I believe in the Constitution and EQUAL rights for everyone. I consider myself "right".

But today...sadly...the left have groomed a killer. Groomed by their lies, rumors and words. They are responsible. Actions and words have consequences...this is yours.

The 2nd Amendment and an armed citizenry is THE firewall against leftist totalitarianism.

It is my speculation over the past decade and especially on this board that the right outrages much more over murder or threats to to "their kind" than the left outrages over threats and murder of "their kind".

I believe the miserable right (im saying this meaning that not all right is miserable, just the miserable ones) need more drama and complaining in their lives so it is dragged on and on and on and speculations take hold, rabbit holes are dug up and anger and misery is prevalent in every post.

As an unapologetic CTer, this mass shooting rings true for me. Hodgkinson has a long history on social media and with his business -- all easily available online. Plus, he didn't actually kill anyone either...unlike so many mass shootings (some of which may be/are false flags) where more than a dozen people are killed.

It remains to be seen if there is false flag motive though...if so, I reserve the right to rethink things.
