The thing is though, just because that was leaked to the public, it doesn't mean it was illegally obtained in the first place. Isn't that what rules of evidence are concerned with? How evidence is obtained?
I suppose, in a jury trial, the leaked material might be considered prejudicial and disallowed. But I don't think there would be a trial if that were the only evidence.

Where's the smoking gun at? Was this all just smoke and mirrors? Seems like it. And to think, people were so ready to accept that this was true.
