Yeah this guy came up haven't checked any sources on it - thought it was suspicious because of what he was investigating:

This might be a silly question, but how does this work in USA? Someone must drive the packages to UPS/USPS processing facilities, right? I don't understand fully how the packages are diverted, when there is always some kind of middleman.

EU,UK,US,Russia... I think they have covered it all.

I can't answer your question, and probably very few people can as not everything's been disclosed.

But for example ...let's say for some iOS malware (not hardware-related), I can imagine CIA having owned a facility somewhere in China, where iOS is pre-installed onto iPhones that are being shipped to the retailers.
So they somehow "infect" every iPhone coming out of that facility with their code alongside the iOS. It's hard to say as we don't know the exact logistics used by Apple at these facilities, nor do we know whether they use some sorting regarding the destination of the shipments. So putting a software-based tool might be pretty easy, I don't know how they do the hardware thing, it's probably more complicated.... but hey, they got endless resources of money (they can just print them, or type digits on the keyboard ffs ), so technically, it can be done.

It would be interesting to see the exact procedures used by CIA to achieve this, you are right about that.

Intrptr probably meant us, the people on ATS, being far more aware of such things than our parents who do not read and/or participate in such discussions, forums or just don't care of any form of alternative media.
Luckily, my father is not the case, he is very well informed. But in the vast majority of cases, it is indeed the case.
We are the ones who actually care I think, otherwise we wouldn't be here.

Enlightenment may have many definitions...and I wouldn't use it in this context.

The beautiful part is even if you never used the fingerprint reader on the newer models, as long as you have it uncovered and you swipe over it you are auto pinging your location to the central servers! So if they did not like what you said one day on social media they just take your fingerprint profile, apply it to a crime scene. Then they can take a DNA profile, even if only digitally stored, and literally fabricate your DNA and also drop it off at a crime scene. Now all they have to do is legally fabricate a hit piece on your character and disseminate it through social media and MSM and you are hereby wanted as an enemy of the state and even your own mother wants to see you locked up for the horrible horrible things you did not do, but the evidence and national media allege otherwise
