Funny. Thanks. I was about to post something about waiting for them to crash into mountains. Oh, wait, that is what the American B2's did at
first. I still want to see the Russian knock off of the space shuttle get launched...

A Russian plane that Stranger didn't know about???
No doubt, it's not the only design they've successfully copied/modified. I've got to give props to the Soviets when it comes to the spy
game...definitely one area where they've constantly been more superior....

Very good find $tranger. Congratulation.
" The Tu-180 is becoming a backbone of the Dal'naya Aviatsia with more than a dozen in service with 1096 TBAP (strategic bomber regiment) at Engels.
"
I've some question :
- Do you know how many planes the Russians want to have in service ?
- When they'll deploy all of them ?
- What's the cost for the whole program and the cost for 1 Tu-180 ?

I think that the Tu-180 is subsonic. Probably in the 400-600MPH range.

That five aircraft per year is interesting. I have never seen pics or info until now. We need to find current pics if there is any.

For this Aircraft to have been first flown in 1986, there's not much info. on it. The same picture comes up everywhere you visit.

Nope. look carefully. The TU-180 doesn't have any engines under his belly. But this one, yes. 4 me, it's looking like a Blackjack who don't have
any trail.
Also, the noses and cockpits are very different from each others.
