What do you guys think. Do you think that the Tu-180 was built in responce to the YB-49. The Tu-180 looks to old to be a counter to the B2.

I just read the article again and I found the "first flown in 1986". It does not seem right. I am thinking quite a few years earlier. Maybe 50's or 60's. But I could be wrong.

No that's not it. It's very different.

This was a good hoax. The Tu-180 would have been a cool jet if it was built.

If you read the page it clealy states that the artical is an April Fools day joke! I don't know for sure that the russian never tried to build a stealth; but if they did, This is NOT it.
