Oh no, not me.

Years back I was taking a class at the local college, and we were asked to write our eulogies.

Mine went something like this..

A really nice person, cares about others
But don't piss her off. She can be a real b$tch. lol

I tend to go off in tangents.

Mine would go like,

"John has passed away. May Death have the strength and courage to deal with it. "

Mwahaha

And mine would say:

"Jane died in The Shed, where she should NOT have been posting after 2 vodkas *the girl who doesn't drink*...but karma is a beach because her Journey to the Afterlife took her back to The Shed...where she has to face the fact that she died having an...ellipsis attack."

After a week of grieving, a drink with a neighbour friend sounded good.
Apparently two was even better.

I'm not sure to be honest...right now everything is funny so I'm just gonna ride on that as long as I can.

I'm going to leave you as the last poster for a bit so people don't think I'm the only one who ever posts in that thread. LOL

I'm doing alright. Easter is a busy time for me - we decided at the last minute to have all our family over to our place. YIKES! So, lots of prep going to happen in a very short time. But, it'll be like the 4th time ever that we've gotten the wedding china out. LOL

Motion seconded. Vodkas or not, it's good to see you jacy!

Why didn't you say so?

Aww sweetie! I am SO sorry that you are stressing about more tests! I went to see my doctor on Tuesday and stressed really bad beforehand. I've also been taking 2 different friends to hospitals for tests, and they've been stressed out too.

I'm glad I made you laugh...we need to try to get a laugh when we can.

I owe a few people a private message or e-mail, and I'm really sorry I haven't got back to anyone yet. I haven't been ready to have a conversation, was feeling far too emotional and miserable. I'm trying to get back to normal (somewhat), and hope that nobody has taken it personally...I will play catch-up this weekend!)

Hey Shep!
Thank you, it's great to see you & everybody here!

I haven't caught up on your story, but you know I will...I'm emotionally attached now, lol.
I really wanted to tell you though, because I have a tendency to just fall off the radar when I'm down (which isn't great but I'm working on it).
I don't really have anything going on this weekend so I'm planning to take the time to read and catch up, and answer e-mails and messages...basically just reconnect with friends again, it's time.

Shep, great song! Ooooh a busy house for Easter! Glad I'll be dining out and don't have to bother with all that anymore. Loved your latest story entries! An edge of the seat episode!

Funny giff John!

Jacy you still thinking of getting a new kitty?

It's a scary thing. I hear what you're saying.

If it helps at all, my Mum and Dad both had to have open heart surgery when they were about 56 years old. That was 32 years ago. Mum's still going pretty well and Dad (who had other medical issues as well) lived to be 82.

Considering more than 3 decades have gone by since they had their "crack the chest open" ops, and the techniques have got even better and safer since then, it's likely the best option in your guy's case as well.

Yesterday was pretty good. It rained a bit but we had some sunny breaks, so can't complain. Dada doesn't really grasp the concept of birthdays very well any more, but she enjoyed the phone calls from family -- and the cakes!

Hang on guys, I have to, um, save a butterfly.

I'm serious. I really got to save a butterfly.

Edit:

All right, mission accomplished. I'm back now.
