Oh Skiddy, you shouldn't have told me that. I can hear that cake calling my name. I must not. I shall behave and wait for our guests to arrive. I haven't been to bed yet and am wide awake. With my luck, this party will be in full swing while I'm sleeping the day away. Save me some cake!

Hey, Congratulations Brotherman and Tortoisekweek!!

I love all these parties and celebrations! I think it's worth celebrating the members who are still around and participating as we've lost some great ones over time.

We need to encourage each other to keep participating and starting new threads. If that stops, there will just be a bunch of us old-timers...sitting in one thread, chit-chatting to each other.

I'm 31. I am excited as hell for next weekend though, I have a very important test I have to take for a new job and if I get in to this place I am probably going to be set up for the rest of my life, I get in with this place I am probably going to stick with them for a long long time.

Aww, absolutely!!

My hubby works in construction (water mains, etc.) as a pipe-layer.
He always tells me about residents on the street putting out coolers of water bottles and Gatorade. Sometimes even beer after they're done.

Of course I support a nasty ass badger...I am the Mother of Ferrets...relatives, lol.
