I think it's time that Trump is allowed to hire his own security detail.

Yeah! They can take an oath of personal loyalty and wear black shirts with a Trump logo armband.

I think Bannon has resorted to using "fake leaks" to manipulate the media into discrediting themselves.

Personally, I don't think there ever was a leak close to the POTUS. I've seen lots of fake news stories from unnamed sources, but nothing solid at all. Like the phone calls to Mexico and Australia. Fake news with no way of checking any sources, it shouldn't have even been reported by any newsoutlets... but it was.

Correct. The FAKE NEWS organisation CNN still managed to lie about the Mexico call after a Mexican official actually listening to the call told them their story taken from AP was wrong. Their panel decided they were right and the official was making it up. So, don't bother listening to a person actually witnessing an event, just go with the propaganda. That is CNN for you. Fake.

The Trump administration is using the same tactics the far progressive left we're using....

Change the language, regardless if it's truth or not, it becomes truth

Call it fake and unfair every chance you get and eventually just say "fake news" to everything immediately discredits and makes his supporters not look into it any further

For me it just makes me dig deeper , sometimes it IS false but more often than not it's not , or it does have events of truth...

But as many under the obama administration did, just taking his word for it ( not taking pot shots here) a huge portion of Trumps supporters just take his or his people's word for it

So. You maintain that it is legitimate to swear to protect a person in office, no matter whether you suspect that person is only in that office so they can abuse it, or not?

Bull.

Nope. I watched the Mexican official actually on the call being interviewed relay exactly what he heard.

You can go with your fake news all you like, but reality wins. You might like to try it.

I agree: reality wins, no matter what you say to the contrary.

Yep, and I just posted a video of a person actually on the call telling us what was said and the outcome of the call.
That is the reality.

Yes, I believe that feelings and politics should be kept out of professional life. If you train, educate yourself and eventually sign up to do a job that requires you to take an oath, you don't get to just not do your job because you have some petty personal disagreement.

Why did you duck my question? How is this any different to a cop (sworn to uphold the public) deciding not to protect you (member of the public) because he has some personal belief that doesn't align with yours (doesn't like long-haired men). Would you condone this? If not, why do you think this is OK?

Is it because Trump??

Even criminals have a right to protection to some degree.

Please stop trying to maintain the moral high ground after suggesting the democratically elected president of the US should be murdered with a hammer because you disagree with his opinion.

Actually, he's been caught deleting tweets (which is why there's now a server that collects all his tweets) and he did have the recording shut off for his call with Putin. (at least, according to sources)
