Whada you mean " these to", it's obviously a shadow and the other one exactly the same as the picture i showed. Ironicly the area i show is just north of the one you show, "pretty much the same area", there are hundreds of these frozen lakes.

When I plug any of those coordinates into Google Earth, I get a message that reads "We couldn't understand this location". What do the "Z" and "O" in the coordinates represent? Usually you use "N", "S", "E", and "W" but GE still doesn't recognize it when I change them. If I just leave the "Z" or "O" out completely, I get a location in Russia.

I don't have the ability to check Google Earth, so maybe someone could help by telling us the scale of what is seen in this picture?

It certainly looks like a disc, but if it is very large then, well, maybe a frozen lake, but it would be an odd lake.

Sure seems to have a distinct edge and shadow, very interesting. One of the most interesting pictures I've seen out of Antarctica, in fact, and one I've not seen before.

I personally think something is melting the ice down this way,nz is pretty close to Antarctic. Our summer is way late,and the sea is a lot colder for this time of year. I do a bit of blue marlin fishing,this time previous years they are here in droves,havnt seen one or heard of one landed yet. The sea has barely broken 18degrees on the Tasman sea,we usually have to head out 20miles too see blue water at the 100mtr deep mark,this year blue water is at 70mtrs,about 10miles or so out.

Not vacationed, but visited. Now why in the hell would any high-ups go and visit a frozen, barren continent?

The fact that ice shelves are melting certainly wouldn't warrant a physical visit.

There has to be something down there that's worthy of the trip....

Well, I hope Google isn't government restricted. But I do believe that sensitive information has to be cut from view.
Like the center of Antartica that being blacked out somehow.

I don't know if they are using there own satellite view and if NASA is involved in the transport section of launching googles satellite other than that if not then Google has all rights to show on Antarctica what they think is proper to do so I think?

The last time you had a load of high level visitors to a strange place was , Afghanistan, that got rated alien ships as well. In this case another cave with a vimana inside. Which is interesting as Himmler had a massive library on ancient manuscripts, and one of the Subs was carrying a cargo of Mercury, which is mentioned as needed for the propulsive system of a Vimana.

I used to do a lot of Antarctica hunting 7-8 years ago (timestamp on jpegs), found lots of interesting anomalies at the time but saved them as coordinates in google earth and a lot of them were overwritten by newer maps. There was one however that I recorded in a bad quality video that I had taken screen caps of at the time. This is prior to the area being airbrushed out below.

Not sure if it's of interest, but I think it is. It doesn't follow the results of a normal stitching artifact and has subsequently been whited out when I last looked.

This is old news. It was indeed already mentioned back here in 2009 in this thread: Very unusual holes/openings-entrances found in Antarctica.

At that time Phage proposed a reasonable explanation saying that those "entrances" are likely natural formations, like ponds. The dark material is water in a depression and the grey material is submerged ice. Also, the "layered" look is usually seen in refreezing ice melt ponds :

I think I struck gold . To my surprise all of my coordinates now leads to the US and the images are gone. Can anybody confirm that ?

This is very interesting to me. For the first time we can birds eye see all parts of the earth from our own homes.

It makes sense that the Royals and some celebrities have information that we cannot have access to and it causes them to visit these odd areas.

Im sure many intelligent scientist, people know something but it is only the celebrities that we hear of bc they are well...celebrities.

I agree with this. Our brains are wired to see and interpret things that might be advantageous to us. Like something that looks like a cave, can be a shelter. With that said, pictures taken from satellites can be in strange perspectives from how we normally see things, on the ground it probably looks less alien.

Here's the same area in Google Earths default perspective. Looks normal.

I think there is something significant about the shape... 2 convex arcs facing down... 1 concave arc facing up... Kinda like a bell... Or even sorta like a stomach shape...
