REFUSING to enforce existing immigration law
I know we all hate facts around here, but Barack Obama deported more immigrants than any other president. So... what?

A physical wall will free up border patrols to monitor for more aggressive entry.
It will stop those who just walk into our country.
They did discuss additional border protection beyond just a physical wall, but it is a start.

An unmanned wall will not stop migrants or smugglers. How hard to you think it is to climb over a 20 foot wall? Grabbling hook, rope....

Pick your battles. No sense staying in a sinking ship ig it comes to that. Remember that America was founded by people who fled tyranny.
I guess I'm just having a hard time picturing a scenario where one of(if not the) greatest countries in the world is so horribly that you need to flee it and the third world #holes are the safe heaven.
Basically, if this country sinks that low, I can only imagine the horror the rest of the world would be in.
Its easier to see when you realize that organization who subscribe to the Seven Hills doctrine are the ones backing the Trump administration and the new GOP.

So what is the price tag on this gonna be?
The wall seems ridiculous just increase funding and manpower to the border patrol give them some drones and the right equipment problem solved.
Besides walls can keep people in as well.
I think we need a thread on the reality of this wall ever being completed.

i dont agree with building the wall because it doesnt go after the real issue nor the right people. which are the american companies giving illegals incentives to come here for jobs.
we should be prosecuting american business with hefty fines that makes it not worth hiring illegals, if we really want to get control of tje issue.
the wall is going to cost a fortune to build and maintain and the canada border proves it not required , as long as the incentive to come illegally is not there.
having said that i applaud him for following through since it was one of his promise.
i cant think of another potus trying to deliver on promises as ferocious as trump. even if i don't agree i applaud him for trying to deliver for those that voted for him.

HOLD your horses!!
Promise ISN'T kept UNTIL the wall has actually been built AND paid for by Mexico.... Which actually is LAUGHABLE...
The AMERICAN tax dollars that Mr Drumpf will WASTE on that wall, could have and should have been wisely spent on your roads etc (infrastructure)....

If there ever comes a time when a US citizen has to flee to central or south america "for a better life" then I'd say we are screwed either way.
But really, fleeing is un american. I'm sure the libs can show their pc cards and get through the gate, so they will be fine. Personally, I wouldn't "flee" anything.

Sorry-I'll believe it when I see it-is he gonna declare war on Mexico?
Honestly, I don't think he has a real clue what he is doing.
He's just doing.

Well depending on it price tag there is a good chance that it could add to another wall that the US has been building for quite some time.
The mammoth wall of debt.
