In my experience a lot of Cannabis from the street , big suppliers
spray all kinds of crap on it, appearance of crystals etc
and a much higher THC level then the plant originally contained

naturally home grown is safe
as safe a bottle of wine

You're in the clear, I'm in the clear. The vast majority of the world are in the clear. But some aren't. They don't have monthly needles for no reason.

people need to know what exactly it is they're smoking

Never met a pothead who wasn't paranoid. Most are useless oxygen to CO2 converters whose sole purpose is to breath air when not scheming to get more weed. The addiction is terrible to witness.

So the bad news is that pot causes schizophrenia.

The good news is that all the personalities will be under-achievers.

And they would be the people who do not believe in moderation.
There are many potheads that are quite busy, and creative.
One of the ones I know is a fitness trainer, into the Spartan and tough mudder competitions. She's a very fit woman, who also volunteers at a couple of charities.

The paranoia in people seems to be dependent on how it's viewed by people in the community, friends, and family.

Every one handles it differently.

Go take a potheads bag of weed away from them and witness the classic response of an addict first hand.

Why are you taking anything from anyone.
Take away a persons beer, they're going to be pissed as well.
Or their fries. Or anything.

Plus, it's expensive.

funny that as
it does not create physical dependency
unlike alcohol

all psychological

if you think some one can be physically addicted to weed
grow up

I know people who willingly risk their whole careers, the financial welfare of their family by taking steps to bypass mandatory drug testing, just so they can get high when they want to. You can call them moderate because they can go undetected for greater lengths than the hardcore stoners but they are just as addicted.

Ironic Avatar by the way...

Okay, withdrawal symptoms of marijuana are limited in terms of physiology. Basically, even the most habitual users experience no more then a few days of nausea/loss of appetite. The psychological affects can be a bit more of a disturbance, but yet again are minute in comparison.

Not to mention that you are speaking as if a single substance will have the same exact affects on all that use it... typically a poor data processing attribute.

Whip that # out in front of some people and it is either going out a window or down a toilet. Why would they allow you to contaminate their body and risk financial ruin?

Clearly not everyone likes it. Therefore it shouldn't be "whipped out" in certain places, or around certain people. If people cannot control their lives on the stuff, then maybe those people shouldn't be on it. Likely the same type of person that might have a similar problem with alcohol or chocolate.

It's not for everyone. There's a difference between use and abuse.

Like most drugs, there are tons of un-wanted side effects. Seen any prescription drug commercials on TV lately? They can't do them in 30 seconds, because they have to (by law), verbally name the "most serious" side effects.

Really? How often is an old hippy going to "the street" to score?

However, you may have a point and that it's the higher THC levels now causing the problems.
I just say smoke whatever you want but be cautious in case you are one of the unlucky ones.

That's never going to happen, that goes against good bong etiquette.
