It's your vote.

Do with it what YOU want.

Don't let anyone ever tell you any different.

"Vote with your conscience"

If people actually possessed a conscience, then everyone would stay home.

Choosing for the sake of, when you know that both choices are so bad, is meaningless.

People should have woken up along time ago, and made sure there were 2 better people to vote for.

My conscience says votes are earned and no one has earned my vote yet. My brain says not voting is the best move, it's the only way to get better candidates in the long run. My heart says, I really dislike Trump as a politician, as a businessman, and as a human being.

Kind of like how the Democrat platform is the Alinsky model for communism and socialism.

I am fighting for improvement using baby steps. I'm one more person adding to the pool of non-lesser evil supporters. If there's ever enough of us, the two parties will crumble.

Unless you can remove the law that says the first to 270 wins, all voting third party can ever do is replace one party with another. The number of valid political parties you can have is inversely proportional to the size of the vote you need to win. If you need half the vote you'll only have 2 parties, if you need 1/3 you'll have 3, 1/4 you'll have 4.

You may think you're protesting the two party system but you're actually supporting it. A vote for Stein is a vote against the Democrats, because enough Stein votes will eventually replace the Democrats as a party.

The only vote against the current system is to not vote. When you don't vote, you take money out of the system and reduce it's power.

I think we need a reset. Neither the DINO or RINO running are fit for office. Both have more CONS then PROS. Either way, both Candidates are one term Presidents anyway and order will be restored in 2020.

So you admit posting a thread without checking out even the most basic facts, yes? Do you feel proud about that?

But Trump said some stuff once.

What Hillary did/does bothers me a lot more than what Trump said/says. Even though it's for a losing cause, I'm voting for Trump. If nothing else, when this country goes down the sh!tter under Hillary in three years, I can point to her undying loyalists and say "I told you so".

Vote with your conscience

If we 'vote' with 'conscience', and 'ethics' (the few that have any, and that is NOT Republikkkans), and intellect, we wouldn't 'vote' at all!
So, I can see why you want to stick with the 'emotional'...

Even if it's a write in we need to vote for someone. Even if every normal person voted none, the candidates and their close associates would vote for them and then the electorate college would put them in.

Sadly our system lacks the ability to vote none of the above. It only has vote for someone or be irrelevant which is absurd in my opinion.

So vote for someone at least that can be voted in.

Why? Politics is entertainment, money flows to them based on how many votes they're attracting, just the same as why American Idol gets higher advertisement rates than some random show on E! at 3 am. When 200 million voters are tuned in and listening, a lot more money, and consequently more power flows to politicians. If only 20 million pay attention, they only get 1/10 the funds, and thus 1/10 the influence.

The long term best option is to not vote at all, but that also means you have to make peace with either current candidate winning.

Puppylove is right. Apathy, not voting at all, accomplishes nothing. If you don't want to vote for either of the top two candidates it's WAY better to at least vote for someone on the ticket. No vote at all implies you don't care-- just an uninformed unengaged citizen-- not even a voter. But voting 3rd party at least says you are an engaged and informed person and you do vote and it shows what kind of person you do support.

Voting 3rd party, means you're another vote in the system, which means you're a target for all the advertising dollars that flow through our political system. Until first past the post is gone, voting third party can't change anything.

What kind of a supreme court do you want to leave your kids?

2 choices.

We know who Trump wants.

Who does hillary want?

Stein or GJ won't get in so ya gonna own what's gonna go down anyway.

Unless you plan to move to russia.

I don't agree with that logic. Sometimes its kind of like picking between getting punched in the right ball or the left ball. Either way, it'll suck and hurt. So its better to not vote at all at that point.

The supreme court is the only reason a lot of folks are voting for Trump.

I'm voting Johnson. No chance to win but I won't feel like I have to take a shower in the booth.
