I'm unabashedly in love with Halloween. I always have been. I think I would attribute my love of the holiday to my childhood in a small town full of haunted old sea captains homes, and parents who hated it, but allowed me to revel in scary books to my hearts content.

Around this time, I always get the itch to watch all those spooky movies that I loved as a kid. Specifically, with a large Halloween theme or presence.

My three favourites are:

And,

But this year, I'm raring and ready to go. I have the means to watch just about any movie you could think of, so tell me your favourite Halloween movies! I want them! I need them! Halloween can't come fast enough.

There are so many but for some reason these 3 came to mind

That basement zombie and the dog that was cut in half then reanimated messed with me as a kid, I remember a nightmare about that damn basement zombie lol.

Because...wolfman has nards!

Not sure why or how I came up with this one just thought be nice to throw some witches in the mix

The main movies that have to be watched each year for me.

Halloween III (this IMO is the best of the Halloween movies. Most people would have liked it better if it was just called season of the witch. They get so bent out about Halloween name)
Halloween Tree
Trick R Treat
Transylvania 6500
All of the Guinea Pig series
Paul Lynde Halloween special

I remember a film I think called the cantendury ghost or something to that effect about a headless ghost that lives in the walls of a castle I haven't seen it for a very very long time.

Ha !

You picked my two fave halloween movies that I would have posted.... Nightmare Before Christmas and Hocus Pocus.

Both of them I still watch every year, it's kind of become a Halloween tradition in our household.

It was such an amazing thing as a kid to find out that Wolfman indeed did have nards.
