Considering that this place is a mall/shopping center, I strongly suspect that, as they usually do, this happened in a 'gun-free zone.'

I have one very similar to the top knife. I also agree with the sarcasm. Having another vote in my state on concealed carry that just passed a year ago.. and the opposition is mostly from out of state home owners..

Tried the same thing here in England with an attack on a Labour MP just before 'Brexit'. Now I'm not saying this is a similar set-up but even if it weren't, will the votes swing?

An Islamic State supporter carried out the stabbing attack that wounded at least eight people at a mall in the U.S. state of Minnesota on Saturday, the militant group's Amaq news agency said.

"The executor of the stabbing attacks in Minnesota yesterday was a soldier of the Islamic State and carried out the operation in response to calls to target the citizens of countries belonging to the crusader coalition," Amaq said in a statement.

(CNN)The man who stabbed eight people at a Minnesota mall Saturday before being shot dead by an off-duty police officer was a "soldier of the Islamic state," according to an ISIS-linked news agency.
The statement posted online Sunday by the Amaq agency follows a pattern of ISIS-related media claiming responsibility for what appear to be the acts of individuals across Europe in the past few months.

CNN cannot independently confirm this latest claim.
Witnesses said the man, wearing a private security company uniform, entered Crossroads Mall on Saturday night, made a reference to Allah and asked at least one person if they were Muslim before he attacked, police said in a statement.

nothing-- but it bugs me about the MSM airplay one group

to concealed carry are plainclothes and off-duty cops. I
don't know if MN allows mall security to CC. But none the
less, an off duty policeman was at the right place and time.

Do you think if the situation happened in a nonregulated
area, and a CC civilian neutralized the perp-- it would be
